News / Poland 2010 ( A bad year ) [27]

Indeed - in fact, the only bad thing about the whole situation is that Kaczynski hasn't changed at all - and now we're going to be "treated" to about 500 days worth of mental collapse on his part, leading to another loss in the Sejm elections.

So the flood and the crash ain't that important or what?

News / Poland 2010 ( A bad year ) [27]

In Poland, 2010 has not been your average year. The presidential election this month that brought Bronislaw Komorowski of the Civil Platform Party to power took place in the shadow of catastrophic flooding, a plane crash that claimed the life of Komorowski's predecessor, and with the ghost of Frederic Chopin providing the soundtrack.

Did we ever have a bad year like this before? I mean after 1946...

News / Why are Czechs more effective than Poles and Poland? [116]

First of all much less population in CR lives in villages than in Poland. In CR it is less than 10%.

Like i told you they only got Prague, and some small citys.

Brno Second largest city.

lala

Ostrava Third largest city.

lala

Most 14'th largest city.

lala

So stop ******** me...

They are higher because the invested capital there is higher. But obviously it is so due to advanced efficiency(or is there any germanic conspiracy into play?).

Recent growth has been led by exports to the European Union, especially Germany and foreign investment, while domestic demand is reviving.

1.Czechs did never choose to fight, instead they tried to adapt to each system during the 20th century(austrohungarian monarchy, democracy, nazism, communism,EU) the best way they could. In this way they managed to create better structures than nations who chose to fight and were negative to anything.

Yes and that's the reason people only will know about Prague when people speak about czechs ;)

History / Warsaw Uprising - The Forgotten Soldiers [117]

hitler and stalin had already decided that the polish people did not have a right to live

They did?

it was not enough for hitler to put down the uprising in the ghetto, he had to flatten the whole area. but on a good note, we flattened dresden and kicked ars in berlin.

History / CONSIDERATIONS ON THE GOVERNMENT OF POLAND April 1772 [12]

Gee whizz, lad. I can see you are trolling.

No im not trolling. i just don't believe that they influenced each other.

Go and look at the social contract theory

I did and i can agree that Hobbes, Montesquieu, John Locke, and Rousseau inspired the modern constitutions.

History / Hollywood stars to act in Italian film on Poland's Battle of Vienna [19]

Thread attached on merging:
Hollywood stars to act in Italian film on Battle of Vienna

A group of Italian filmmakers is currently touring southern Poland in search for location sites for an international project of RAI Television, provisionally entitled The Battle of Vienna.

I heard some rumors that Mel Gibson maybe would play the polish king Jan Sobieski.

Btw how come that the poles wont make the movie? to poor? or doesn't the polish audience like polish history films?

History / The Untold Battle of Britain [205]

You're either a cretin or a liar or both. At Yalta it was agreed that there would be free elections in Poland. Why would that have been agreed to if Poland was planned to become a Soviet province, as you claim?

HAHAHA so that's what they teach you in england???

Well Churchill and Roosevelt was kinda naive...

History / SEE DANGER AHEAD FOR THE KAISER IN POUND. July 24, 1902 [14]

Court Chamberlain von Morawski, a Polish landed magnate, has appealed to Emperor William not to visit Posen during the army manoeuvres to be held in September, as his Majesty had planned to do.

Interesting that the German Kaiser was too scared to enter Poznan.

News / 10,000 ISRAELIS READY TO CLAIM FOR POLISH CITIZENSHIP AND POLISH LAND! [628]

The only reason any Jew should visit Poland is to visit the death camps, which should be a very good reminder why Jews should never live in Poland!!

Wow... Did your parents keep you in the basement while the other children went to school?

NEVER EVER seen a so retarded and uneducated post in my entire life...

My family was hiding jews and fought with them in the woods. I recall one of my relatives saying "We fought for the same cause. To kill Germans".

In Poland Jews and poles were equals in pre-war and during the war. Then the bloody communists ruined Poland and brainwashed the poles with this ****** anti-semitic ****.
