we need to fight to make the whole world a better place to live.. the way its
going now, everyone fighting ( at each others throats )in a forum doesnt do much
justice either.

I really didnt see anyone say I love poland, more or less I think people are
interested for their own reasons..

and maybe in some way eventually those interested will do something to help
in those areas that need it..

I think alot of us have a hard time swallowing the bad things, negative, as real
as they are, just like anyplace else,... but it also is hard to swallow things
about your own country too, and I suppose the feelings they experienced
are as real to them as our world/life is as real to us and that we dont feel this
way because we live it.

anyway, prob off topic but just feeling like we should all meet somehow in
the middle.. I think that would make it a better place.

we lost our uncle the first month of the war. they had the funeral at home
he was guarded by two guards the whole time till he was buried.

agree.. I found a picture of my grandfather ( as a younger man) and at first
everyone was unsure of who it was.. I tried to upload it but no luck

anyway, needless to say, he was the mirror image of my cousin.. as a young
man. so when I sent the pic to my cousin, he was amazed.. he said it was
like looking in a mirror on his computer.

the funny part of it all was. our family thought it was our uncles.. and
knowing our uncles .. as boys are today they would never wear what their
father wore because it was out of style.. well the clothes they had on told the
date and that my uncle ( my cousins dad) wouldnt be caught dead in them. lol

thats my guess... i took a better look, if you notice in the first photo you posted
as uncle andrzej, but is the other one, it looks like same man, the first photo
is prob him with out any decorations, the second photo is definately older
and is same man, my presumption. the last one you show me is a much older
version, the stars are his rank I would think?

can anyone help on what the above decorations mean?

the second one being older, I thought that before I read the post.
my uncle made the military a career till he died in 1942 january.

possibly this is whats the case..?

seduce is a very very stong word.. if you dont know what you are saying

nope, my point and case.. why so much focus on Bush when theres tons of other
corrupt govts just robbing their people, much worse and here we are the bad guy
but someones mad because his visa was rejected.. if thats the case good. maybe
you dont deserve one, because your corrupted.. get with the program and maybe

no I disagree.. because the united states in a melting pot.. it dont matter who
you are, right now immigration is buckled down because of the war.. thats the only
reason.. before 9/11 we never seen a boarder patrol car.. now I see it daily. so
America didnt change its attitude no more then any other country that has to keep
its people safe.. its not because we dont want them. we do.. we dont mind at all
but US isnt the favorite place right now for alot of reasons. but its the same..
nothing changed from when we were the favorite place..

I can tell you one thing though.. it came to a huge surprise that Canadians dont like
Americans.. and I would think that if they are so welcoming to the immigrants then
why would you not accept Americans as they are the same as those immigrants
that have come to another country to work, live.. how has Canadas attitude changed
because thats oppsite of what Ive heard. as well as hearing that someone who is
from another country is also the target of jokes.. this was a thread on this forum
about Polish jokes and some young man who came from poland to canada to live and
every day he was subjected to the polish jokes and fighting I believe was also involved.. so how has the attitude changed in canada??

also I apologize for the sarcasim, but it gets really old seeing people over and over
dog on your country when its the politicians who make all the stupid mistakes and
