No, I mean fixing the German cities before you talk about Lwow... Lwow is a fixer-upper. There are still a couple of renovation projects underway, Wroclaw is one of them. Maybe get that out of the way first.

No, Wroclaw, Szczecin and many towns - German as you say - had been destroyed by Red Army and rebuild by Poles without Marshall help :)

Lwów on the other hand had been left on the Soviet side of the border intact and had been left to rot away slowly, since 1991 neglected by Ukrainians, those nazi ******* are good enough to invest money into monuments and books, organization - all about Bandera and others criminals and murderers.

They do not care (with Canadian;s nationalist help) about state of Lwów - that the yet another prove that the town do not belong to them.

I was referring to the Polish posters.

Ukrainian posters on PF are not apologetic, sorry or otherwise admitting wrong of ethic cleansing. They just list excuses, Poles this and that....well they are alive are they so what this BS is about?

I'm quite happy they do not give in becasue it only sthreghen my resovle to get our land back.
Once more Lwow and area is not Ukraine and never was, fact that there living people considering themselves to be Ukrainians is immaterial.

As I understood he saved them for financial reason, what does it prove anyway?

Yes because He gave veterans land, and no becouse He didn't steal it from Ukrainians.
And Bandera with his followers developed Nazi theory about ethnic cleansing - its explains to kill the Poles!

Rubbish! My Great grandfather was from ...... just north from Lwów and he commanded Ukrainian, not only spoke it but could write it on much higher level that so called Ukrainians! On top of German, Polish and French.

but it could be number of reasons but gambling - for one lack of proper management in difficult situation after war and turbulent times.

There is confusion because there is Ukraine Proper and so called Ukraine were people claim to be Ukrainian but never been one country except from 1569 till 1772 being the part of Polish Kingdom and then again after 1945 being a part of Soviet Union - and nowadays!

Sure they can claim to be whomever but is beyond me how they dare to claim land as well.
Consider that there were no independent entity called Ukraine before 1991 !
