Not correct. It's WW1 in which this aspect played a part. Not in WW2. In WW2 there were other aspects, not the balance of power. The balance of power wasn't as much an issue in 1939 as it was in the teens of the 20th Century.

There is clear that patriarchate, private property, competitiveness between members of the same tribe, gathering of wealth and power, chief is all one packed - base of our civilization.

The mentality is the same!
First agriculture was achievement of women and it seems that first cultures of farmers were matriarchal.
In Europe and Asia those cultures were taken over by warlike culture of keepers and herders of livestock - our culture immediate ancestors (pastoralism).
Privet property found the organization of the society around profit and wealth as the highest achievement in life.
Such culture and mentality in their more matured form went over the ocean to the New World and conquered those cultures, which seemed to be build more around different values, hence inability of Indians to grasp the conception of individual land ownership.

I know, but our neighbours across the pond are nursing some delusions.

1938 Britain sent troops to Czechoslovakia to aid the czechs against the germans,where as,what did Poland do,oh yes,took the oppertunity to invade slovakia as the nazis marched on the sudetenland,not criket old boy.

Why, its was Czechoslovakia that refused to ally itself with Poland.
Yet I have learned one interesting detail in 1938 while Poland and Germany have reasonably friendly relations, Britain was bent on stopping Germans and was serious by the sound of it.

It speak loudly to those who listen - Britain as early as in 1938 were determined to stop Germany in Europe, so much that didn't hesitate to sent soldiers to fight against German Army.

What reasons are they then oh master historian?

Although I don't see what workable system has to do with "putting British people first"(we could have a little discussion if you wish to elaborate what do you mean by above expression.

I simply in words of the politician you quoted failed to see the promise you were talking about and Amethyst didn't see it either.

I don't put much faith in politicians and tend to see thing as they really are .....

Without the Brits declaring war on Germany, Poland most likely wouldn't exist today.

Without Brits giving guarantee to Poland which clearly they wouldn't been able to fulfil - Germans most likely wouldn't attack Poland.

I don't believe in moves but many people do, specially these ignorant of others cultures like most of the Americans.
My point is that some of the moves are made with ant-polish bias!

And it's good that Hollywood keeps those memories

but it not good when these memories are falsified.

In the sixties there were reform of the voting districts and area settled by Polish community were divided and lost its impact on the local and state elections.
