News / Human Trafficking in and from Poland [80]

I don't feel sorry for the women 'falling' for all the promises and the big money abroad in some exotic country. Really, they know what's ahead of them. I read/heard plenty of stories decades ago! Don't they hear/read about this stuff now!?

I know what you mean, but of course not every girl is willing to prostitute herself, and many get tricked into ''working'' abroad.

Don't kid yourself, prostitution will never go away.

Which is exactly why it shouldn't be looked down upon. I mean, this business should be made perfectly legal, in all its aspects. It should be supervised and checked 24/7. Prostitutes should have rights, shouldn't ever be forced into sex, have a safe working environment and enjoy protection of the law, and have people to turn to if necessary.

But of course I'm a scumbag for suggesting honesty and transparency, but even if this would ever happen, people would still have to be on their guard when it comes to intimidation, blackmailing, etc.

It's sad. Some nice guys out there die of loneliness, while those who really don't deserve a woman rape them by the dozens.

Life / Is Poland split into two religions: catholicism and non-believers? [103]

Care to quote some of that anti-Catholic propaganda?

Who needs anti-Catholic propaganda?? I think Benedict's speeches are bad enough for PR already!

Obsessing about Catholics is pointless, just pick a belief system that you are comfortable with and dont worry about what others believe.

You can tell that to the Pope who constantly expresses his concerns about all those awful Humanitarians, Atheists and whatnot.

Love / Polish girls fall for Indian guys ? [217]

Many Polish girls fall for Indian guys.

Yes, all of them do.

They said Indian guys are cuter, smarter, work harder, and know how to treat women better than other guys.

Yeah, all the Polish girls I've met said the exact same thing!

Is this true?

Totally, except for Dutch guys of course, because we're awesome.

Polonia / What About The Poles In The Netherlands? [102]

They work 10-12 hours most of the time, 5 days a week (extremely hard work requiring heavy lifting of goods weighing 10-20 kg).

Yes, and people like me don't have any work because they agree to work for less than minimum wage, and something tells me that they don't speak up for their rights either, but it's not like I can do much about that, since they've agreed to do this.

Any person doing the same work here in Australia will be paid minimum $20+ /hr + 9% superannuation (around 15 Euros).

Sounds great! So can I get a job in Australia for a while? Or am I not Polish enough to do such jobs?

It seems like slavery is alive and well in the old Europe.

Yes it is, all thanks to those wonderful politicians in Brussels.

Life / Passing your Polish language and culture to your kids [74]

Do you remember learning Dutch?

Yup. :)

And hey, are you trying to call me old?

Hey, you're as old as you feel? (Or as young! ;))

You can't be too much younger than me, or else you wouldn't be allowed to stay up this late past your bedtime.

Yes dad. xD

Love / Polish girls hard in relationships [156]

I'm not saying that this is the case with you or anything, but don't be afraid to fail. :) I mean, usually, girls like to see a guy who takes charge, they like to see some initiative and action, so don't be too cautious next time? ;) Of course she could very well be one of those Breezer-types (As we call them in Holland! ;P) who took advantage of you. :S I doubt it though, if she was willing to stick around for a few months. ;) Hey, if you don't see her anymore, better luck next time? :)

Life / Passing your Polish language and culture to your kids [74]

He learned English somehow. This is one of the few times that I nearly agree with Bzibzioh (obviously skip the Catholic hate yourself bit). That second language will make it much easier to learn other languages in the future. If you teach it while they're young, what are you hurting? I've never regretted it for a minute.

Oh, but I'm not saying I disagree with her logic in this matter, or yours, but the fact is that kids have a will of their own, and you can't teach them jack-sh¡t if they *really* don't want to hear it. (I still remember being a kid, so that's probably why! xD)

I propose very hi-tech and sophisticated solution: TALK to your kid. In your own language.

You can try. :)

I occasionally babysit my friend's one year old son when she's having her hair done, and as she's always encouraging me to speak Polish to him (they are English-speaking Canadians, she's Irish-Jamaican) I taught him one Polish song and some Polish words. He repeats them constantly when he sees me. He's also learning French as he goes to a bilingual day care. I can guarantee you that his head is not exploding.

Yes, but that kid is obviously younger, and obviously enjoys languages. ;) Not all kids do. ;) So it's not about what you think, or what I think? :)

You are just lazy mother looking for justification. You are robbing your kid of opportunity to talk to his grandparents and extended family.

Woah, woah! Slow down for a second? She did mention her kid has zero interest, and you can't always force everything on your children, not even when you think that it's really important. Sorry, but that's life.

Travel / Poland in photo riddles [3134]

begging and breast feeding...

She isn't breast feeding her baby. Notice how flat-chested she is, how she didn't lift her top and how the baby seems to be half asleep? (Look at the legs of the child. ;)) Notice? Good. She probably fed the baby a bottle of Wódka, to keep him as quiet and comfortable as possible for a long period of time, and to get more compassion from bystanders. It happens a lot in Belgium too. (My uncle has a restaurant there, and his town is full of Roma beggars, who employ the same kind of disgusting tricks.) This woman probably did not even deliver this child, because you only have to look at her chest to see she isn't producing any baby milk. Biology lesson: When a mother's body starts to produce milk, her breasts swell, and in most cases, become twice as big as normal. Only starved mothers do not produce enough milk, but this woman doesn't look like she's homeless, looking at her, and the babies' clothing. Probably on wellfare or benefits, trying to make some extra money. (Which is understandable.)

I just felt like saying something, because I really think some people might actually benefit from a little street-education every now and then.

Off-Topic / PF - The Omnibus Edition [1502]

V for Vagina. (Vulgarity.)

Violà! Vaccilating with vafrous vagility and velocious venerous venery, ventilating in vieuw, a vaniloquent vulgar Vaudevillian veteran of vice, cast vicariously as a veriform and virile varietist, aswell as a victimized villain by the very vicissitudes of our voluptuous, vulvar Vixen Victoria, who valorised frail and frigid Varsovienne Feminists with a fair and frozen visage. Verily, this farce, no mere veneer of vulgar vanity, is a vestige of the venal and vendible Foxy Populi, now vacant, vanished and vaporized. Vocalized vividly, and with filthy fragrance, this valourous and feminine visitator of ventorious and ventripotent ventages, overflowing with verdure verjuice, vows to vanquish these virulent, volatile, vespine and vesicant vermin who violated our freedom to frivolously frolick with flirtatious and fertile females, viduous Vicereines and Viceroys, who vesuviate a ventanda of fleeting, fiery and feisty fantasies, finally freed from fidelity and foul fanatical vouches, and freak visions which are a vomiturition of virilescence. The only verdict is vengeance, a Vendetta on the vincible, vocal, vibrant, held as a vociferated votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate and free the vigilant, viripotent and volable Vivandières who volunteered to vulnerate viridigenous and voyeuristic virgins, to facilitate a volutation in volupty and flings, for fun. Volensing and volitient to vomitting this vaguely vaginal and vulvular vichyssoise of verbiage which veers most verbose, it's my very good honour to verify the fucking fact, that the V for vulgarity has vanished forever from this very Forum.

Next: C for Censorship. (Or cookies??)

:S

P.S. I'll never be a good as Szarlotka.

Love / Polish girls hard in relationships [156]

why not, when it`s true...I know it`s funny for you. Men has such a huge ego that he would never ever say "sorry, it`s my fault". And if he does, most probably he`s afraid of a girl he`s with

Typical. If we don't say sorry, we're wrong because we have such a huge ego, and if we say sorry we're wrong because we're afraid of the girl we're with. Typical indeed.

xD
