Food / Why carp for Polish Christmas? [157]

All carp bashers, you are deeply biased because you probably tried the fish from polluted rivers or lakes in your own countries and you imagine Polish carp is equally bad.

You are wrong. Polish carp is much better than the fish in your polluted countries.

Actually, it is the same price as salmon in Polish shops.

If I have a choice, I always choose carp, though salmon is OK too.

Carp Jewish style is delicious:
True Poles are proud of their carp!:

Law / What is the most developed Science Technology in Poland? [11]

A completely paralyzed person can communicate with others through the eye movements read by computer programme.

Read about this and other innovations here:

A flying robot controlled by head movements that makes Full-HD movies, an infrared terminal that identifies people from the pattern of their veins, an intelligent pen to combat dyslexia, systems for controlling computers with the eyes and lips, a device for keeping the water in your swimming pool clean, bulletproof vests, ultra-sensitive cameras for astronomy-all these innovative products and technologies were on display at the Science for the Economy Show in Poznań in June. The show was part of the Innovations, Technologies, Machines Poland 2009 trade fair.

Language / WHY THE HELL CANT I LEARN POLISH?? [64]

I said used to because I don`t watch TV and didn`t know if it still works.

But it does: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TVP_Polonia

TVP Polonia (also known as TV Polonia or Telewizja Polonia) is the international channel of the Telewizja Polska (TVP). The channel is co-funded by the TVP and the Polish Ministry for Foreign Affairs and broadcasts from the TVP headquarters in Warsaw. TVP Polonia is targeted at Polish-speaking audiences outside of Poland, and it broadcasts many of the shows also broadcast by TVP's domestic channels in addition to news from Polonia/Polish communities around the world.

TVP Polonia is available on cable networks in Poland, the United States, Germany, Canada, Italy and elsewhere. In Lithuania it is available using a normal TV aerial. It is also transmitted free to air from Astra 1KR satellite[2]. Some of the shows are translated into English

Language / WHY THE HELL CANT I LEARN POLISH?? [64]

do all foreigners have this problem(to this degree i mean)..?

Judging from the style of your writing, you might be troubled with some serious blockades preventing you from acquiring foreign languages, especially ones as difficult as Polish.

Good luck indeed. ;)

Polonia Channel used to show such films:

Law / How to register for doctor in Poland (by area) [16]

I've been paying ZUS from my salary, but I've never registered in medical site. Will it be free for me to go to the doctor's?

Have you got the ZUS booklet with current registration stamps? It is called legitymacja ubezpieczeniowa.

You show it at medical center and get a doctor for free.

News / Crucifixes to stay in Polish schools [364]

Catholicism has been with us for 1000 years, it helped Poland survive the hard periods.

I agree.

Catholics are still the majority in the country. Democracy rulez!

At the same time nobody is forced to practice catholicism. In Krakow`s high schools about 10%-15% students have chosen to skip religion classes.

Life / Beggers namely Kurwa boys in Poland [70]

I used to give those beggars some change. But after I learnt that most of them are professional beggars who are brought to Poland by slave trade gangsters from Eastern and Southern Europe, I stopped.

Love / Are all Polish men Psychos? [111]

What do they say about the rubber hose? Remember, I ordered 40 kilometers of it.

40 here, 40 there.... Yes, I guess it might arouse certain suspicion.

But my situation is already so bad it can`t get even worse....

Lucky you, you don`t have such problems....

Love / Are all Polish men Psychos? [111]

You think I am kidding? It sounds funny but all I said is true.

Fortunately, currently I am in detention in a Polish prison. Safe from mafia`s long tentacles.

I hope they keep me here for a while. The director needs me because I am the only person who speaks and writes some English here. He asked me to create a website for the prison, with an English version. And I teach him English when nobody sees.

It is a good life.

Love / Are all Polish men Psychos? [111]

I have problems in life. Mafia is after me because I didn`t pay for 40 kilometers of rubber hose which I had ordered in Ukraine. And 40 tons of citric acid that I bought there but didn`t pay for was dissolved when the warehouse got flooded during stormy summer.

Don`t you see that MY problems compared to your problem of not receiving a reply to messages are really big?

History / Have Poles blood on their hands? :) [496]

But Prussia was not some black dictatorship and people COULD slug it out at a court instead of just being killed or kidnapped into a labor camp...they HAD rights!

Hmm....

What about Września case where Polish kids were beaten by sadistic German teachers???? It was an outrageous act of brutal violence.

Września is known in Poland for a school strike by Polish children in May 1901 in response to the intensification of Germanization (i.e. prohibition of the Polish language at school). The Polish language had long been tolerated in the schools, so the introduction of German as mandatory language led to protests. The controversy led to drawn-out protests between parents and authorities. For refusing to speak German, Polish children were severely beaten by Prussian teachers for several hours. Parents who tried to break into the school and protect their children from Prussian teachers were punished later by a Prussian court [...]

Language / Interesting inconsistency between Polish and Russian [71]

I am inconsistent. I am suspicious of Russia, but fond of Russians. When I play my fav game, I usually choose the white Russian nation. Pity their leader is called Stalin, though.

Look, I am running a successful invasion of North America.
And soon the entire world is mine:
Do you think I am a freak??? :):):):)
