I don't know British newspapers that well - I just merely stated FT repeats Wyborcza lies in its article - as for the press I respect the most in Poland it would be the Do Rzeczy weekly - but I very seldom buy any newspapers - I live in a zadupie leśne - and I seldom go to towns - I read mostly internet news even though the main portals like wp.pl, onet.pl and interia.pl are biased and often manipulative

can't really help you - I'm not very knowledgeable on the subject - what I guess is though it won't be easy for you to get an extension of the visa (it may actually prove impossible) - most people who come to Poland from Asia do so either by finding an employer prior to arriving here or by family unifications (think Vietnamese here)

if you are outside of the EU you have to have a employer who will prove that they need you to the Polish employment office - I don't know any details though

there is also an option of gaining residence through investment in Poland but I guess you can't afford it

Language / Learning A Language While Learning Polish? [3]

once upon time I studied English and Russian - English was my focus and Russian was obligatory - I was sort of gifted language wise and Russian is similar to Polish (although most vocabulary has to be learned, you still have very similar grammar to deal with) - I learned some Russian without much effort - my English is much better though cause I spent a lot time learning (in school), reading and using it (especially after the advent of internet). - I don't know if that helps you - but if you acquire German quite effortlessly you can then focus on Polish (for whatever reason you choose to)

Does anyone know about tutoring, classes or something else that could help me keep learning Polish while I'm in Amsterdam?

I found this website - naukaholenderskiego.pl/kursy-szkoly/1092/ttc-talen-traning-centrum/ - the school (TTC) says there they run Polish courses (beside main activity which is teaching Dutch to Poles) maybe there is one available in Amsterdam by them. you can also look for Polish tutors online - e-korepetycje.net/jezyk-polski-dla-cudzoziemcow

the structural funds are a compenstaion for opening markets for goods from the EU and other rules that affected new memebers' economies - if they are discontinued before agreed time we aka Poland have every right to introduce border taxes on the EU products
