Life / Is grumbling a Polish attribute? [24]

Why do people talk here on this forum? Why is it all this hatred? Oh why why why why?!
What has the world come to?!

we tend not to follow the under-the-breath mutterings of complaint and the 'do widzenia' to say 'you served me terribly'.

Yeah I got that problem, I say one thing to be polite but in reality I mean something else. Got problems in my relationship to my aunt for that -.-

Thinks im her quietest little boy and all and that I have a lot of problems and that she need's to save me.

While I think she is re****ed

*agrees and puts on cute helmet for the time being*

Danke ślicznie :)

Would look good, ja? :)

Hmm, I am not how Austria would respond to this but you are their representative I hope you know what you do.

Although Hungary wasn't considered in it, it is understandable as they got their will until further notice about "Upper Hungary" so a German-Poland dominated flag sounds reasonable, I just wonder about our Czech-Slovak representative. He hasn't responded yet, maybe their sending a new one?

*points CEE secret police to thug for further observation*

What’s it called now STASI-ski?

Hmm it would been too many ill feelings about it (especially the German themselves)
I propose ISP (Imperial Secret police)

*wonders about the flag*

News / 1945-2010 Poles will march on Red square [66]

They got invited, that's makes them happy and hopefully takes the bite out of...you know...this parade they missed.

Yeah that gives an other thing to think of, I bet that if the British did a parade now and then and invited some Polish soldiers over things would get better ;p

It was the same with the Germans...honestly...in the beginning they were the bad invaders but they completely changed after '44...they wandered back into Germany and fighted only a justified and righteous defense war for the Heimat against the attacking allies...no Hitler anymore...seriously!

That is a fact ;)
(what could those Hitlerjugend have done defending Berlin during 1944? Gas people? Hardly)

Russians don't seem to mind why should we!

They start to mind thanks to their nowadays president? :D

Erm...you think all the Red Armists who before invaded Poland had died in the mean time and the new huggable Red Armist hugging AK soldiers were all new and fresh?

You know by yourself that the Soviet lost a lot of soldiers, there was a LOT of recruitment going on and I doubt really there was a lot of survivors from 1939-1941 when the Red army was entering Poland later on...

Also they hugged those AK and cheered together because they were allies not of anything special. But ofc these NKVD saw upon AK as fascists and so on :((

Yeah, payback is a b!tch :)

Yeah

It clearly shows that they invited for nowadays political reasons ONLY :)
(now I kinda know how the commies feel in Russia, poor sods)

News / 1945-2010 Poles will march on Red square [66]

Kind of strange. Have the Poles forgotten who attacked them in 1939?

That was Soviet Union+ Stalin,
When Soviet soldiers walked into Poland later during the war they hugged AK soldiers they met and fighted toghether to pull out the Germans but later on came the NKVD and everyone turned their faces into sad faces

1 thing is Hitler got elected into power
second thing Stalin killed more Russians then he killed Poles...

Off-Topic / CEE - Central European Empire [49]

The first is already on its way.

You shouldn't have done that

You shouldn't have sent it to us, we have the technology to control it. Auto destroy it or Amsterdam will feel more then it has ever felt

Of course, as a Hungarian province, it is understandable that they use our coat of arms
cross on their flag - we have absolutely nothing against it. Quite the contrary.

Then it is decided, the cross will symbolize the Upper Hungarian province

Well...it's a helmet...yes (and a really cute one)

Then put it on and represent your province! Do you want us to think that all Germans are little sissy's without helmets! Come with some proposals!

At first we haven't concluded the symbol of the Central European Empire
I would propose something in the line of a flag with all the symbols from each country/province

Hate to spoil your fun, but we do have nifty little devices called Nuclear Missiles, which I recall are not to be found on the territory of the CEE. And I kinda like that fact.

You know that using nuclear weapons will send a chain of reactions in the entire globe. I can't even recall CEE having any hostile attitude towards Western Europe (wanting to invade it etc) not only will the world go against you, but your own citizens! You yourself too If I am not mistaken!

Hah! I laugh at your silly little army you little caaaaniggggets!
(it was "taken" from a Monty Python move just so you know)

(we do have American and Russian support though)

Buahahhaha we won't arrange Olympics and we have all the Vodka the Russians have send us already (very good actually)

I'm going nowhere without my helmet...

How many times do I have to show it to you? I have found your helmet, the only thing I need to do is to get the power to return it to PF!

Unofficial representative of Germany: Bratwurstboy
Unofficial representative of Austria: Bratwurstboy

BB can you take the imperial helmet for now and focus on more important matters?

I accept.

Then it is settled
Official representatives of Hungary and Poland have come to light

I propose that we use the traditional name of Upper Hungary for that particular province.

As I have deep interest in history I would second that but ONLY if the Slovakian representative will give us his/her opinion and accept the term

However, we surely cannot tolerate the occupation of Imperial lands by Romania, Serbia
and Croatia. Something has to be done - the Honour of the Empire demands it!

I will inform the Polish military commanders about this

But...you know...we need helmets for that, helmets we don't have...so...we need another, more creative alternative!

Germany has industry, how much of the industrial capacity can you sett off to the helmet making? Although it is important to remember that certain units as modern cavalry, and air force are much more important then standing infantry I know for sure that our Special forces do have helmets if that is a worry.

SeanBM will get us our avatars back. We can start mobilizing - I will lead the invasion
of Transylvania myself!

Ahh sorry i skipped that one I will inform the military commanders to move into your headquarters regarding the invasion of Transylvania

Although such matters can wait for a few weeks we must first get to agree upon a symbol or flag before we go rush into things. Even the EU which have fallen had some sort of flag. It should be unifying

(about this symbolism I have a important question to the Hungarian representative the Cross in the Slovakian flag could it count as an symbol for both Hungary and "Upper Hungary"?)

Do you have any propositions? I am open for any trade agreements

News / Jarosław Kaczyński sharing his words with Russians! [57]

Seems to me that Jarosław Kaczyński tries the same as the president of Russia did. I hope it will reach common Russians

In general he said that his brother were meant to stand in Moscow watching the parade, also he said that he knew that his brother would think of the many soldiers, Russian soldiers who fought the German third Reich, but he would also remember about Katyń. The crime which happened 70 years ago divided our nations apart, I know that there are millions of victims resulting in the Stalinist terror, Russians and other representatives of other nations of the former Soviet Union. That Stalin-ism is our common problem today, our relationship can only come to light if it has it's ground on the truth. Even then when it hurts the most, Poles remember the bullets and the strikes of the criminals of NKVD. But they also remember the help which many Russians gave Poles in their most needful time. When themselves didn't have much they offered the very little they had. I myself know that my granddad got to know Alexander Piotrovich Bigintie (or something I am not good in writing Russian names) and by that he himself and my grandmother and himself were saved. The many signs of solidarity from common Russians on the day of the great tragedy in Smolensk was noticed by Poles. It was noticed and we are grateful, we thank you! For every prayer, for every flower, for every candle which was lighted on that day. There are moments in history which can change everything, which can change the course of history. We Poles hope, also those who supported Lech Kaczyński hope that such a change will happen, for us, for our children and for our grandchildren.

News / 1945-2010 Poles will march on Red square [66]

Hope, you still remember that it was your victory as well.

Remember, did Poles invade SU during ww2? Were they marching towards Stalingrad or Moscow with the Wehrmacht? Were they not the people who put on their bayonets to fight the Nazis? :)

There are good things to look after if you look closely enough

History / To Understand Poland 39-89 (L.U.C - TRIBUTE TO STEFAN STARZYŃSKI) [17]

Quite good, except at the rapping kinda part that sucked a bit. Although the idea of the monsters (kinda like the war machine or something) was quite good. Only negative for me was the KönigTiger which I am 100% sure didn't take part of the 1939 invasion But but I know it's a lot cooler then a Panzerkampfwagen II ;)

History / Should visitors to Auschwitz pay an entrance fee? [82]

answering the appeal to the international community several nations have answered. From memory: Germany, Sweden, and UK.

*cries about Norway being ignored*
Why remember Sweden?! WHY?! :((

During the war, Ida Grinspan, now 79, was deported to the Polish death camp in 1944 but was one of the few survivors to make it back to France.

Wow they used a HUUUGE letter how refreshing!

History / How was Poland compensated after World War 2 [47]

Wait, so Poland won the war?

in Theory Poland won
In practice Poland lost
That's how it goes mate

Poland was lucky that it received German lands at all. Stalin could have as well decided to leave Germany as is and still annex the eastern Polish territories - simply ignoring Churchill and Roosevelt and their ideas.

Quite true, he maybe didn't want Poles to be all over furious? ;p
"Hell I have given them more then hell, let's give them a little soda maybe they calm down?"

At least Poland didn't become one of the USSR republics.

Some say it thanks for the Warsaw uprising, like Stalin didn't want Poland to join SU (the thinking of countless uprisings were enough to make a serious headache)

Also it would be more Liberated if it was her own country at least ;)
In some weird commie-puppet-controlled by Kremlin-style

As Piłsudski said it: The next war won't be about borders. It will be about existence
So in that term Poland won :)
