UK, Ireland / Hand washing at public toilets in the UK [75]

oh welcome back! see what's the point for a Pole to clean the door handles in the toilets if Brits will grab them with their p*ss covered hands? what do you suggest? should your country start advertising for Polish door handle cleaners as well?

A little from column a, a little from column b. You have got good hair though: if that is your picture on the right, that is.

just cos i've got good hair doesn't mean it has to be fake. some people lack that and they need hair extensions or wigs, i consider myself fortunate :)

Sounds pretty good to me. Anyway, why does a TV drama have to be happy?

all i said was that there is this show about Polish immigrants in London and not ONE story is a good one. that is not a very objective picture of Poles living in UK is it. not all of us over here are in trouble and our lives aren't full of drama.

Poles love chatting about misery

true, and if it's someone elses misery then they can have a laugh, too

I read a statistic that the average Pole laughs 3.2 times in their life. Very serious race, the Poles.

i think i broke a record in laughing then cos i laugh at least 3.2 times a week lol

So how we treat them ?

just generally make their lives difficult, avoid socialising with them, often cheat them off their money, make fun of them behind their back or sometimes in their face... sorry but i've seen it happen. but then Poles tend to do it to each other as well.

And I don't think you disagree overall so not trying to start something with you. God knows that is a losing battle ;)

clearly i meant SOME places not the whole of Asia and Africa, i thought that would be quite obvious. i can edit it to some places in Asia and Africa if it makes some people feel better, but i'm sure you see my point. i wouldn't call it racism, it would be more like curiosity and sometimes fear of the unknown. once you get used to seeing it, you will soon stop noticing. Poland needs a bit more time, but i'm sure it's not so bad. and yes don't you start me off lol.

Spade

oh not you again troll

Deal with it, I know that Poland is less racially tolerant than many other countries. Why is it so hard to accept?

i'd pretty much agree with that, it's rather obvious when you look at people's facial expressions when they see a black person passing by... but then like Eva_K said the same happens to white people in Asia or Africa. no point denying it.

Ps nice hair extensions! My wife's just had some done and they cost a fortune.

are you trying to be rude or funny, cos i don't have any hair extensions

Well , who would want to watch a soap opera about people who get a minibus to a factory to pack chocolate bars all day, get the minibus back and then sit in front of satellite telly with a tin of herring and a beer for the evening? Pass the drug dealer please.

err that's not an example of a happy story is it

News / Poland's fight against paedophilia [277]

read this a while back: Shopping trip treats for dangerous Midland rapists and paedophiles.

DANGEROUS sex offenders are being allowed out of a secure Midland hospital on day trips - because health chiefs are worried about breaching their human rights.

A source said: "We have to take them out for their human rights - and they can go pretty much where they want.

''And they can buy what they like - some of them do buy DVDs with kids in them. We take everything back to the hospital and then decide if they can keep them. If not, things go back to the shop and the men get a refund.

''There was one man who was going out every week but it had to be stopped because he admitted he'd have a child away if he could.

Life / "Londynczycy" - new Polish soap [62]

There is a girl who has gone to London to be with her boyfriend who turns out to be a drug dealer and already is getting her in trouble, there is a guy who has moved with his son to be with his wife (who's already been there 6 months). There's a couple who work in a bar (although they had a bust up).

any nice examples of Poles living in London with a positive story? nah that's bad tv and everyone in Poland would get too jealous ha ha.

Life / Disco Polo - No No No No No! [95]

I though that Disco Polo was dead.

never! my sister is a singer in this band that plays at weddings back in Poland, and she always tells me that at the great majority of weddings they covered, people would not move their butts to the dancefloor without some good ole disco polo. its not her favourite genre, but that's what people want!

Off-Topic / PF - The Omnibus Edition [1502]

I’m not sure how the established agony aunt here feels about the new upstart. I refer, of course, to JustysiaS who until now has been the one to provide the compassionate and gentle advice to all those seeking the love of a Polish Princess or two, particularly where the requestor is of a Middle eastern persuasion. I suggest that we need a new thread that provides us with advice on which agony aunt our problems should be addressed to.

i approve, Panie Pie, i approve :). i'll just stick to troll bashing, akhem, compassionate and gentle advice in the singles section ;)
