UK, Ireland / The secret Polish gay men in the U.K [133]

Well, you are clearly reading it in your own way ;) ;)

That's one thing I cannot and will not be is gay. The whole idea of sodomy is just weird for me.

UK, Ireland / Are the working class in the UK now shunned in the 'new' Poland? [53]

Yes, they do harp on about them. Even more than I do ;) ;) I learned to let go as they are just bits of paper.

They work some terrible jobs in the UK. Money is their sole motivator. Oh, how disappointed our great Lord Jesus would be ;) ;)

I know what he means about the 'new' Poland. Very well, actually. He is referring to the west of Poland becoming much richer and the east ever poorer. JK would redress that balance but Kommie will only exacerbate it. The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer.

Frankly, it's all a nonsense and you are where you put yourself.

UK, Ireland / Not all is bad for Poles in Scotland! [167]

Let's see who hasn't read Arthur Herman's 'The Scottish Enlightenment' ;) It was an agreed condition in the preliminary discussions to the Union of the Parliament in 1707. England got a lot from that union so agreed that Scotland would get sth in return.

Life / Car Crime in Poland [28]

Leaders in car crime since 1845 ;) ;) ;)

The German guy I met on my Baltic trip had a joke or two about this. About buying back your own car in Poland :) We had to have a laugh.

Love / Please Stop insult for polish girls [17]

It also gets to me too. I don't see most Polish girls in this way at all and I live in Poland. Yeah, they dress sexily but that has nothing to do with sluttiness. If you've got it, flaunt it! Yeah, quite a few Polish women are butterfaces but that also has nothing to do with sluttiness.

Besides, at what frequency is the line drawn between a girl who likes sex (a very normal activity) and a slut? Why even barge into other peoples' private lives anyway? What goes on behind closed doors, when normal and reasonable, should stay there.

News / The chances for Warsaw to become capital of eventual Slavic confederation? [183]

I think Varsovian is Grzegorz. Now that he is without his dog avatar, he can slip under the radar. His style is almost identical.

The same stupid opinions on various matters, it must be him. The only other person more irritating was that ugly mug, £ukasz (Prince etc).

The chances for Warsaw? Slim. Poland is firmly in the EU and likely sees ethnicity as a dividing force. Look what it did in Yugoslavia.

UK, Ireland / Not all is bad for Poles in Scotland! [167]

What a bloody cheek, Varsovian! Not all is bad for Poles in Scotland, what a stupid statement! Poles have been voluntarily taking up employment in Scotland for some time and appear to like what they are doing. Plus, the Scots are generally easy to get on with in the workplace. Back when I did my CELTA, the exchange rate was over 7 PLN to the pound. Some Poles were there and were telling me that they were doing jobs for only 1000 pounds a month. Still, that's over 7,000PLN which, esp 6 years ago, was a good deal.

Yes, there were the moody ones who were unfriendly but that's just their character and nothing to do with Scotland. If they don't like it, they know what they can do.

Not all is bad for Poles in Scotland, LOL, you are quite the joker, son!! Kindly take your dissatisfaction elsewhere. We don't want griping cnuts like you in Scotland.

History / The Untold Battle of Britain [205]

What's a conspiracy theory, Bzibby? I'm not acquainted with that term.

Maybe I should switch to my cloud. Hey hey, you you, get off of ma cloud :)

I facilitate discussion and that's my job. I don't take strong sides unless sb offends either myself or my family.

Now, that untold battle? I wonder if Franek is around. He could tell an interesting tale. Listening to war tales is one thing, living them out is quite another :)

Gay men just like my strong build. I have legs like a rugby player :) I've known 4 gay men in my time and they have all commented on my strong shape :)

History / The Untold Battle of Britain [205]

Dresden was a reprisal, BB. It was hardly going for the jugular.

When I come off that fence, the consequences are quite rough so I stay on it :)

Anyway, regressions abound. There are some excellent accounts of pilot bravado but also of desperation. Some Spitfire pilots went kamikaze and got caught out. Still, we had luck and skill on our side.
