Law / Import non running project car to Poland [14]
I doubt that you will find a market in Poland for this car.
I love Alfa Romeos,but like all Italian cars they are terrible build quality and extremely unreliable.
Electrics are a nightmare.

The only Galareta I know involved a pigs head.....all of it....in aspic jelly...sounds pretty disgusting,but I liked it.

We are seeing German union and soldarity here.....and they want to run Europe???
What a joke The whole concept of The EU is!!
Unions rarely work out in the long run,The USA was an exception because they all spoke the same language.
The UK too,but even these two strong unions based on a common language are looking more fragile now.
What chance The EU with no common language?

Language / What do you like in Polish language? [70]
Most British singers sing with an American accent,though there are plenty of exceptions.
Not sure when this began but I'm guessing it was after the war when American Big Band Jazz and Rock'n'Roll took off over here.
Neither would sound right in a BE accent. :-)

Study / What do Poles think of a foreign person who tries to learn Polish [47]
That would not work for me as I understand spoken Polish better than I can read it,I think that may help improve my reading of Polish in the long run,but would confuse me whilst trying to enjoy the movie.
I try to watch Polish movies with Polish subtitles

Study / What do Poles think of a foreign person who tries to learn Polish [47]
That is very true and probably a good way to judge if someone is truly fluent in a language.
I can watch movies in Polish and French and catch most of the nuances and jokes,but miss some of them.
Does that make me non fluent or just a bit slow?.....I miss some stuff in English too.....especially American English.:-)

True,she has a thick accent,but her understanding and speech is perfectly understandable.
I know very few Poles in The UK with English as good as her Polish.
. She makes plenty of grammar errors and her accent is very thick

I can clearly remember my father and uncles telling me never to believe the lies about Katyn,"it was not The Germans,it was The Russians" they told me......it was many years later that the truth came out and I understood the knowledge and honesty of my family.
