Although you have a valid point I would not have made this statement.

It paves the way for anti-semitism, after all the Jews residing in Europe and the US are widely seen as supporters of Israel (even as the opinions are split on that between themselves).

And especially in the case of the US people know that Israel and jewish Americans lead the White House by the noose - hence anti-jewish feelings, not only anti-Israel feelings!

Hmm... I didn't know it was a duty for Polish men and women to die for Jews, especially when there was a law telling exactly what happens for a pleasure of helping Jews.

Hey...I didn't wrote that!
I wondered why many Jews have only venom for Poles even as Yad Vashem seems to tell a different story so I looked for online "survivor-stories" from Poland...

Well...if I were a Jew reading this I would get a skewed impression too!

After the Hitler's attack on Russia, and the onset of the Holocaust, the Poles created a myth, that is still alive today, that the Jews are responsible for Stalin's persecution of the Poles. It was a convenient myth, it enabled the majority of the Poles to stand by and watch the destruction of the Jewish community, waiting to inherit the Jewish properties.

Generally, In Poland the rate of survival of the Jews was abysmal, about 1 percent only, compared to 75 % in France. It is true that only a small minority of Poles actively helped the Germans, [...]

I don't think it's about what the Germans did...this is well known and the fronts are cleared...it's more about that:

In the XV century terms, Kopernik was definitely a Pole (just as Mikołaj
Watzenrode) because they were loyal subjects of the king of Poland.

As was polish science or polish anything...he grew up german in a german family, studied in latin and in german and wrote in german about his theories, he was active in inner prussian politics, later worked extensively for the prussian administration...what makes him polish at all?

The guy was born in Kraków to a Polish family, he fought Teutons, thats a pretty big indication of his nationality.

Not to a polish family ("Watzenrode" doesn't sound polish to me) and in an inner-prussian civil war about taxes mostly he chose the side which was accidentally the side of some Poles too...some indications!
