USA, Canada / US Polonia 70% for Kaczyński [343]

=Jahred]
In reality, you're just saying that because most Polish-Americans didn't vote for your preferred party. Had it been the other way, you would be staying quiet.

Wrong! I am the fairest guy in southern Poland. :):):):)

For the record, I'm not a Polish citizen so don't try to say I'm biased as I do not give a **** about Polish politics.

So why don`t you feck off? :):):):)

USA, Canada / US Polonia 70% for Kaczyński [343]

=Ironside]Why because they voted PiS? Polish citizen is Polish citizen.

A Polish citizen who stays abroad longer than a year or two should lose the right to vote Polish candidates in Polish elections, no matter what his/her political choice is.

News / Will you be proud of tranny (transsexual) representing Poland ? [124]

In another thread, Polish 2011 elections, Grzegorz is highly critical about "tranny" in the Polish parliament, calling it shyt.

I asked him a question Do you know what transsexualism means? in order to find out the reasons for his primitive prejudice. Maybe the guy doesn`t know really and thinks it is some kind of disgusting perversion etc.

Is it so hard to understand?

You are sick with your absurd prejudice. I am really horrified that you can be so stupid as to consider such a person worse than other people.

It looks like you allow yourself to be carried away in the fashion of your manic hero, JKM! :):):)

I think it is ridiculous to participate in Polish voting while you are permenently staying abroad. I hope PO will do sth about it.

News / Will you be proud of tranny (transsexual) representing Poland ? [124]

=Grzegorz_]Poland has just got first transsexual member of the Parliament... also first in the world I heard. Members of Sejm are often traveling and representing Poland abroad. What do you think about tranny representing Poland ? Will you be proud of... her ? I am especially interested in opinions of Palikot/PO supporters. Please comment.

Nothing against. Are you really so subhuman as to have problems with that?
Do you know at all what transexualism means?

=delphiandomine]PiS aren't finished, but Kaczynski is.

Everybody knows that with Kaczynski at the helm, PiS will never gather enough support to rule. His negative image in the society is one of the highest in Poland, about 55%.

wiadomosci24.pl/artykul/sondaz_cbos_kaczynski_bardziej_wyrazisty_od_napieralskiego_213079.html

If I were Kaczyński, I would try to play such a trick - make a secret deal with his assistants, give up his chair to one of them, spend 3,4 years in seclusion, lead a private life, abstain from commenting politics etc. Simply, allow people to forget his manic obsessions. When deKaczynskinalised PiS wins next elections, he will come back as a leader again, taking the post of PM in the PiS` government.

Not bad, is it? :):):):)

It was posted by an independent identity.

Just in case......

Bol, bullseye! I wanted to talk about it but you were first.

Exactly, it is incredible: PiS are talking about shame? :):):):)

=gumishu]I just say what I believe is very likely to happen - I expect a lot of turmoil and pretty soon

Don`t be so hopeful. Poles are wiser than you and PiS think. :):):)

Comments:

On Twitter, PO spokesman thanked football fans for contributing to PO`s victory.

Gumishu, who are you trying to scare? :):):) You should already know that I prefer illusionary stability with PO to real instability under PiS. ):):):)c PiS are unstable maniacs, don`t forget it.

=gumishu]they most probably couldn't find ways to use that energy in Poland - think about it

Nope, quite the opposite. They are the people who chose the easier way. :):):):):) Instead of developing and working for their own country, they decided to pursue their careers abroad. :(:(:(:(:(:(

That is my subjective opinion.

Why? They would be doing *exactly* the same to us if PiS won.

Guys, come on. Why do you prefer seeing disagreement while we should look for agreement?

We all care for Poland, that is what unites us. Stop bickering. :):):):):)

Distribution of votes, part 2.

Urban voters have chosen PO.
Country voters -PiS.

In biggest cities the ratio was 2:1.

Old ladies in Poland

=gumishu]I mean that PO+PSL don't have enough votes to have a government but we'll see

Exit polls suggest they do.

=MyMom]Who did you vote for? Oh sorry, I forgot, you can't vote!

Instead of voting physically, Delph and Hague voted morally. That is enough to bear the name of a Polish patriot.

How did expat Poles vote abroad?

Chicago - PiS at 80%. New York - 50%.
Belarus- similar.

Bulgaria and Romania voted PO!

=Grzegorz_]this is by far the best choice for non-communist voters.

Strange. I have always been against communism (consciously - since 1981 - martial law) but it never came to my mind to vote Real Politics Union aka New Right. :):):):):)

Polish sense of humour is really unique. :)

The election silence forbids any polls - fines up to 1 million zlotys.

So, Twitter, Facebook etc members used vegetable terminology to chat about elections. They talked about POry (leeks) which cost 32 zlotys (percent), PIStachios - 30.8 zlotys, Canabis (Palikot Party) - 11 zlotys, Red Tomatoes (SLD)-10, Clover (PSL) -9 etc etc.

Poles, I love you, no matter if you vote PO or PiS or Palikot, Stay as you feking are! :):):)

I voted JKM's party, like always... 1.1%... unfortunately people are too stupid...

Nope, quite the opposite. Polish people are wise and resistant to lunatics.

The Real Politics Union's programme included:

It generally favors reduced government spending, tax cuts and a flexible labour market.
Minimal government bureaucracy.
Protection of property rights.
The party wants waiver of income tax collection.
Promotion of privatization and reprivatization.
Demonopolization
Decentralization
Deregulation
Decommunization
It postulates a return of capital punishment for murderers.
It wanted to end conscription and to introduce a voluntary army.
Private health care and voluntary education.
The party is pro-life and thus opposes euthanasia and abortion.
It is against same-sex marriage and LGBT adoption.
Support for NATO and participation in free trade organizations.
Opposition to European Union.

Poland party victory

I "love" it how Polish media report with satisfaction what the world says about Poland.

PO victory in parliamentary elections in Poland is a sign of maturity of democracy in Poland and standardization policy - emphasizes the "New York Times " . In a similar vein, the election results in Poland says " Le Figaro " , according to the French the campaign is proof that " corruption and anti-communist crusade out of fashion " . Virtually all foreign media emphasize that winning the PO has a historic dimension , because the first ruling party managed to stay in power .

According to ARD correspondent , Polish-German relations will remain at least as good as today , and probably even improve. Tusk and German Chancellor Angela Merkel well understood . They are also the engine of economic development in Europe - rated ARD journalist .

Poland wins

Pawiem narodów byłaś i papugą? (Norwid, a great Polish poet)

Never mind, peacock or parrot/parakeet.

The world breathed with relief.

Financial markets are expected to welcome the result, which points to four more years of relative political and economic stability in the European Union's largest eastern member state at a time of crisis in the euro zone. Poland was the only EU member state not to sink into recession during the 2008-09 global economic crisis.

Thank you for abstaining from saying that I am blind or brainwashed. I appreciate it. :):):):):)

I am really sorry for you, you have to wait another 4 years........ :(::(:(:(:(

Observations cont>:

Kaczyński: One day or another, we shall win, because we are right. A day will come that Poland will be like another Budapest.

Added a rhyme: I hope that PO government will fight crisis, not PiS.

Hypocrite!

Where is a strong political entity able to gain confidence of patriotically minded voters?

Iron, I respect your Polish patriotism. It is a great thing, indeed. If all Poles cared so much for Poland......

But please, understand, there are many shades of patriotism. For example, I think of myself as patriotic when I vote PO instead of PiS. I love this country and don`t want to see it ruled by PiS again. :):):):)

In case you reply that I am blind, you should know that I will answer: You, too.

So, please, don`t say I am blind or brainwashed. :):):):):)

News / Poland Parliament elections in October 2011 [944]

A few observations after watching TVP1 channel footage from parties` headquarters.

SLD leader, Napieralski was completely stupefied by his party`s low results. Indeed, rightly so, it probably means the end of his leadership.

Jarosław Kaczyński strongly declared that his party will continue the fight and one day it will be a Victory Day for PiS!!

Palikot said he might support PO and PSL coalition in the future Parliament after some of his political program points are fullfilled. Namely- make more things legal, instead of illegal.

Tusk became sentimental, kissed his wife, said: I know that love is more important than power.

PSL leader Pawlak was satisfied and suggested he is waiting for PO`s first move.
