do you think it is fair if leo messi play for spain just because argentina was spanish before?
florent malouda born in "cayenne" (10 klm from paris)
Lilian Thuram guadeloupe (next to marselle)
Cayenne is in Guyane which IS a French territory.
Guadeloupe, yeah, as i told you, French Antilles, still France.
As for Makelele, his dad was a professional football player and they moved to France (France didn't "recruit" him...). Viera left Senegal at the age of 8.
zidan (the argelians are more proud of him than the french)
I think you meant "Algerians"... You find it weird, seriously ?... Do you know another big star coming from Algeria ?.. Zidane was one of the best player in the world, of course they, the Algerians, were proud of him. And in case you didn't know, Zidane was among the most "beloved" French during a few years... see, we were proud of him too. But i don't really see your point here. Deco (Barça) is Brazilian and currently playing for Portugal. Marcos Senna is currently playing for your country, but isn't he Brazilian ?...
Hatem Ben Arfa (nice french name)
We have a big North Africa minority, yeah, and he's French, yeah.
Have you ever seen the Netherlands' U19 team ? They have many black players. What about Davids, Kluivert, Seedorf, van Bronckhorst and the youngs Emanuelson, Melchiot, Heitinga, de Jong, , Babel, Vermeer, Zuiverloon, Sno, Drenthe, etc. Most of them are from the Dutch Antilles, like most of the French Blacks are from the French Antilles.
