News / Giant Jesus Rising in Świebodzin ( Tallest in world ) [323]

But what's the harm, really?

There's no harm, but unfortunately some Christians treat me as if I'm the devil himself when I say I don't believe in Jesus. I mean, I really don't see any horns growing from my skull all of a sudden, and I really don't feel bad or lost either!

Love / Polish girls fall for Indian guys ? [217]

No I'm proving a point that western women do like westernized Asian guys.

Some do. It's a bit ridiculous to say all western women like Asian guys, isn't it? That would be like; I've had a Polish girlfriend, so now all Polish girls like Dutch guys.

And how would you know of it was them who left me?

I think you're missing my point, but nevermind. Have fun telling the world everyone likes Asian guys. (Good luck!)

:)

News / Giant Jesus Rising in Świebodzin ( Tallest in world ) [323]

I don't see any problem with it. Only a rabid Jesus-hater could find it offensive.

It's not about the statue being offensive, and it's not about hatred either, so if you care to read this little message, then maybe then you'd atleast understand where people like me are coming from. (You don't have to agree or believe me, just try to understand the fact someone else may not see it your way.)

I myself honestly don't believe Jesus has ever existed, because the figure of Jesus seems to be an exact copy of various other mythical and religious figures before him, if you look at ancient Egyptian religion, Persian religion, Indian religion.. Etc! Have you ever taken a good look at the Celtic cross for example? It existed *long* before Christianity, and it doesn't symbolize what most Christians think it symbolizes. If you keep this in mind, then how can I hate someone I don't believe existed?

Now, I've given some of you guys a hypothetical scenario about the possibility of a statue which symbolizes someone else's religion. Judging from the replies I've read here, I can safely state that some people who claim to be Christian said that they wouldn't ever tolerate someone else's religious symbols in the form of such a statue of epic proportions, which is exactly why they shouldn't expect me to cheer their symbols.

So that's why I feel it's just another sign of trying to dominate someone else and forcing your vieuws on someone else. (Because you wouldn't accept a pagan statue there, would you?) I'm aware of the fact that some of you may not see it that way, but please try to understand I don't see it your way. (I'm not a pagan either by the way.)

Of course, Poland is Poland, and if people in Poland think this is the way to go then this is the way to go for them. I'm just merely giving *my* opinion about it on the internet, and the last time I've checked we still had freedom of speech.

So get it straight Trener. I don't hate Jesus. Why would I? (I don't have problems with that statue either, but I have a problem with the fact it's the only symbol some people are willing to tolerate.)

I kinda like their attitude.

Oh, and all of my girlfriends have been white :D

And? You say you consider yourself to be just as English as the next guy, but I can't help but noticing you seem to like adding that race-tag yourself all the time, so I wonder what's up with that? Indian girls not good enough for you? Oh, and something else smartass; All your girlfriends obviously left you, so I wouldn't be *too* proud of that, because it will make some girls think twice about you.

Ever heard of a teenager who keeps pills and powders in a glass cabinet for friends to admire as a hobby?

Well, I used to collect marbles.

That is a slight twisting of our history that the anti-Christian Lying Left advances.

It's not too hard to read the Consitution, and I'm sure you've noticed it was hand-written and signed by the Founding Fathers.

Sure it was only in 1954 that Bowman added "under God" to your Pledge of Allegiance.

And that, of course.

no matter how you put it AJ, we (most of us) don't like fags here and I hope, it won't change.

It does matter how you put it, actually, because atleast you're honest about your opinions, vieuws and feelings, where trener just alters history to get his point across. (I just really like sticking to the facts.)

conservative Christian Founding Fathers

The Founding Fathers thought Church and State should be seperated. Some of them may have been Christian, but they were Humanitarians first and foremost. They firmly opposed the influence that the Church and the Aristocracy had over people in Europe. (Hence the whole revolution, the whole war, and the whole statue of Liberty thing!) Jeez, you're not going to tell me that I actually know your history better than you do, are you?

Life / Any treatment centres for homos in Poland? [455]

Okay, I've translated a few segments of text - to the best of my ability - and just wanted to mention a few things about this totally retarded article.

It's well known that Holland is a pioneer in giving homosexuals social advantages - they are allowed to marry and even adopt children.

Prawda.

Little is known, however - says the KAI top - that Holland also excels in the treatment of homosexuality. The most renowned and longest established psychotherapist prof. Gerard van den Aardweg** (I'll get back to you on this one!) has talked several hundred people out of homosexuality over his thirty years of work.

Nieprawda! This is probably the biggest blatant lie in this whole article, because Gerard van den Aardweg is officially considered a lunatic in Holland.

**Gerard van den Aardweg:

Gerard J. M. van den Aardweg (Born in Haarlem, 1936.) used to think that homosexuality was curable and subjected gays to his therapy. However, recent publications, studies and research regarding this subject disproved his theories, and debunked this myth, because it's scientifically proven, aswell as commonly accepted by psychologists and psychiatrists today, that homosexuality isn't curable. It will probably not surprise anyone that Gerard J. M. van den Aardweg was a deeply religious Catholic, who wrote books about the Miracle of Fatima, and among many other things, he denied evolution. Wow, a 74 year old senile Professor, who is in fact one of the last psychologists on this planet who still believes that homesexuality is curable. Oh, and keep in mind that last so-called study dates back from 1961, when homosexuality was still reviled, and considered socially unacceptable. (Totally unacceptable, I might add!)

Gay-movement activists don't deny the data. In their vieuw, a homosexual's emotional problems stem from the lack of tolerance on the part of the social environment and the inability to function in society, as they don't enjoy the same rights as heterosexuals. - In Holland, these barriers no longer exist, because homosexuality is widely accepted and legally sanctioned, but the scale of neurotic problems among gay men did not decrease.***

*** In the period of time where Gerard van den Aarberg studied his subjects there was still a lot of gay-bashing in Holland, and a lot of people were deeply and strictly religious back then. (which is no longer the case.) Oh, and gay-activists totally deny this data, because it's biased research, and a little out-dated to say the least. Of course, this bullshit article completely fails to mention any of this.

So, if there isn't anymore rubbish you wish to post about Holland, I guess I'll just leave it at that. Any Polish people who are reading this: You should be deeply ashamed of the fact that articles like this are written in Poland.

poniedziałek, 07 stycznia 2008, zbawieni

Written on Monday, the seventh of January, in 2008. Right. You've just gone back to a pre-war way of thinking! (Does progress go backwards in Poland or what?) Jesus H Christ people! We don't live in 1934 anymore! Sigmund Freud? As if *that's* still the leading authority when it comes to psychology! (Come on!)

I know few cases where exactly this had happened and I know what kind of hell those families went through and are still going through.

What kind of hell? Could you be more specific? (Not sure I understand!)

Please do not put the blame on women.

Please don't tell me all the guys are gay.

I have many girlfriends in Germany who complain that it's hard for them to find a German boyfriend since so many of them are gay.

I know plenty of guys who want to settle down, but they're obviously not good enough for one reason or another. (Go figure!)

If anything it's the sick European individualism that's brings people to search for new experiences, self fulfillment and the market that caters to that.

And you have no other choice? You can't decide for yourself? Come on!

Why would man or woman go into the hassle of raising a family (and it's a hard thing, I know that) if they can be entertained.

The only reason I don't want kids is because I can't see a future for them right now, but maybe that will change one day.

History / "Poland's Concentration Camp" ?? [570]

In the case of Holland lack of means only!
Lots of Dutchies were proud members of the Waffen-SS...being great little Nazis.

That's not what I meant. I meant to say none of us (meaning we, today, now, us, our generation, the people who discuss this topic.) actively have had a hand in these genocides which occurred in the past.

But even so:

Thanks for the history lesson, but I'm aware of our history. (which has been pretty violent and pretty brutal for such a small country.)

But I get pimples if someone like you tries to sell me his moral horse but having the same dirty hands as everybody else!

It's not that I disagree with your logic, because I do, but I just really wanted to add that none of *our* hands are actually *that* dirty.

News / Designer drugs kill 18 in Poland [32]

Designer drugs exist in all kinds of varieties, so it's impossible to tell you about all the effects of each particular drug. They create these drugs in many varieties, so that it becomes almost impossible to label each particular drug as illegal. (America declared all designer drugs illegal though, no matter what type of synthesis.)

News / America's Tea Party like Poland's Solidarnosc? [59]

Don't count on big business to be the keepers of good social policy. They need an incentive to take the needs of society into account.

This sounds a bit too arrogant for me, because they need to acknowledge that their businesses exist because of society. We can outsource everything, but inevitably, there will be a day when India and China are going to catch up with us, and become far more competitive than they already are. And then what?

A lot of people in a lot of different sectors are seeing a loss of income due to less consumerism, and I'm not too sure if higher unemployment rates will be benificial for those employers who think foreigners are cheaper either.

I think I've mentioned two pretty good incentives here. (and you can also add the stagnating housing market if those aren't good enough.)

I have many girlfriends in Germany who complain that it's hard for them to find a German boyfriend since so many of them are gay.

I don't believe that.

That means more white babies.

I think that less arrogance and less demands from European women will mean more European babies. Simple.

The earth is overpopulated anyway.

I think people in Pakistan and India should definitely use condoms more often, and the same goes for Africa. In the rest of the world birthrates are actually dwindling, and when our baby-boom generation passes away here, you'll see how overpopulated we really are, because I can tell you that's definitely not the case in Europe, Russia or America.

And yes, for temporary work, foreigners tend to be better - simply because you can get rid of them easily and cheaply.

I hope someone will think about society for a second. A lot of people in a lot of different sectors are seeing a loss of income due to less consumerism, and I'm not too sure if higher unemployment rates will be benificial for those employers who think foreigners are cheaper either. Birth rates? Still dropping. Single people? About 4 million. I guess the employers are happy.

what I mean is that in a very poor country somebody making 300% shouldn't be called poor, even though that is still not much money, things need to be put in the right context.

I'd say it usually depends on the rents and the basic costs of living.

Learn how to install and configure routers and I'll hire you.

I can do that.

Did you get sacked? :P

If that's meant to be some kind of insult, then you only show how oblivious you are to the whole situation. A lot of guys get sacked here all the time, because employers only give you a short-term contract, and usually ditch you short before the contract expires, so that it looks as if they've tried. But the simple truth is that they want cheaper labour migrants to work for them on a temporary basis.

But that is at least partially due to their own desire - those on minimum wage often don't want much more than some lager and television.

So you're telling me I don't want much more than television and some lager? Why don't you let those people speak for themselves, or ask them for a change? I want to study Psychology to help myself and help others. Right now, there's hardly any job to be found anywhere, because labour migrants get most of the jobs. Because they, more often than not, work for 3,5 € an hour, and sometimes even less. (You just simply can't live on such wages in my country.) In cases where they get paid minimum wage, employers don't have to pay extra costs or double overtime. I think you can imagine what happens when employers have that choice?

How to reconcile rich and poor, privileged and disadvantaged, sick and healthy, dynamic and lethargic, honest and dishonest...?

Just make sure everyone is valued and respected, able to participate in society and are allowed to have a sense of a social life. Most workers who have no other options than to work for minimum wage today don't have a social life whatsoever, because they're usually broke after paying their bills. The more qualified workers seem to manage quite alright, but maybe one of them should speak for him or herself?

Unfortunately, we keep outsourcing decision making further and further away from the people affected by the decisions.

Even worse, we keep outsourcing every possibility someone would like to have in order to get somewhere. And my vote? It doesn't mean jack anymore. I mean, just read this forum and how people respond to a bit of social awareness most of the time. I'd say that's laughable. (I could almost swear it's anti-social and sociopathic behaviour sometimes.)

Food / Sliced bread contains more preservatives [3]

I'm conducting an experiment with my food. I have one loaf of pre-sliced bread and it has been exposed to air for almost three days now, and it's still good! I don't think that's really normal, or healthy.
