Law / Question about the drinking laws of Poland. [45]

Yea stereotypes, you saying you know my drinking habits? For true? You don't little girl.

When I said "you" I meant Poles, fat boy.

As for habits Americans drink way more than Poles.

yeah, where you live (Polish, Chicago like neighborhood?). At least I don't see any Americans getting wasted, standing whole day long in front of some messed up "Kiosk".

I rather get high.

either way an addict (lol)

Life / Doda's spiritual change [9]

When it is done by an ordinary person, it is for fame or for celebrity?

You can't see it that way anymore, it's a fact that she's a celebrity and celebrities are known to use all kinds of tricks to stay "alive". Madonna etc. did exactly the same thing earlier.

Law / Question about the drinking laws of Poland. [45]

This dude is 16 y/o, not everywhere law is as ridicolous as in the US.

I wouldn't expect any other comment from a Pole as I know your drinking habits.
You know what's ridiculous, to allow a 16 yr old to get wasted, this is what I call a ridiculous law.

Not to mention that 18 y/o Americans can fight a war yet they can't get drunk.

drinking alcohol seems to be really important to you. Well, it's not to me.
Actually, I'm very much for more discipline in general, not just drinking.

Life / Doda's spiritual change [9]

she has changed 100% and became a person more concerned about the others

donations to hospitals and to Africa

she even can stay without sex during a day which she thought impossible before

very questionable if she means any of what she said but it will definitely refresh her celebrity status in Poland.

Genealogy / Is Wajman or Wayman a Polish name? [15]

Is Wajman or Wayman a Polish name?

not really. Once upon a time, it was most likely spelled Weimann and it is a German name.

but it could be jewish

if then German Jewish (a German Jew is still a German in my books).

Law / Question about the drinking laws of Poland. [45]

but you can get booze easy, piece of cake !

hm, very "welcoming" statement. It sounds like a "great" advertising slogan "young kids, come on over to Poland, no one cares here if you get wasted, no matter how old you are".

Life / $3,000-$4,000 a month - would we have enough money to live in Poland? [273]

who knows might like it and stay ! lol

you gotta love Poland to stay there for good. It's a nice country (still a little underdeveloped though), the Poles are OK however pretty odd sometimes. If you can live there totally independent from their economy and people, you're gonna have a good life. You have to be aware that even though most of them don't make much money, almost everything is more or equally expensive as in the states.

Life / Support wanted to stop the sale of live carp in Poland [74]

Has a carp ever in human history cared about man?

this is a pretty dumb statement convex, you have to admit.

Following your logic, no other creatures are worth living because they never cared about humans.

Life / Support wanted to stop the sale of live carp in Poland [74]

This ridiculous: Why would anyone want to ban the sale of fresh fish?

why can't it be sold already killed instead to make it suffer (without food in messed up water) for a weak or so in one's bathtub. Certain animals are meant to be eaten, I'm OK with that but it doesn't mean that they need to suffer before they get killed.

When I was in Poland, I saw it myself, those poor carps slowly dying in a bloody water, sold at the fresh market.

Life / $3,000-$4,000 a month - would we have enough money to live in Poland? [273]

Clothes, tools, holidays, fuel, kids toys, electronic equipment and services all cost more here than they do across the pond

none of this is cheaper in Europe (at least not in Germany or Poland).

1.cloths - depends on what you buy
2.tools - you can get cheap tools here too
3.holidays - only cheaper in Europe because everything is so close to each other but even in
Poland it is not cheaper than in the US. We were spending at least 3000 PLN a month just for
not counting the rent and other bills.
4. fuel - don't even go there, it's about 50% cheaper here than in any European country I know.
5. electronic equipment - I'd say it's cheaper here too
6. services - what kind of services are you talking about?

Either you don't live in the states or you've never been to Europe, sorry man.

UK, Ireland / Poles and Irish, what do you think, are we friends or enemies? [62]

guesswho there are many handsome Poles.

as you know, I lived in Poland long enough to have an opinion about it. There are not many handsome guys in Poland (you're an exception :-) )

plus maybe the Celtic girl likes the Slavic look.

and that's why I said, it's a matter of taste.

Life / Some Poles have fine houses [68]

I find most houses in Poland are just badly layed out. Also the concept of having a living room (one that you don't sleep in) and a dining room are almost unheard of. and what is it with Polish kitchens? they seem to comprise of random bits of furniture which has been rescued from skips.

Really well observed, however there are a few, really nice houses too.

News / Die Welt-Poland and Germany are the economic driving force of Europe [239]

I don't like the current government at all but I deny to accept any of your "TRUTH" as you're an obvious America hating ignorant.

Besides, why don't you just freaking suicide and free the world of your pessimism. The last thing Americans need right now is having to deal with a Nostradamus11111.

Er,GW,I sometimes think your a clever troll, honestly, come on,do I have to rip your points apart?

Oh yeah, now it comes the intellectual guru. I'm so scared.

1, You asked marek specificaly for evidence regarding the Banking crisis, you asked for links,I got in first and gave you a link re the banking crisis.

I never denied anything about the banking crisis. He used the word "defraud" and this is what I want him to prove, nothing else.

Rubbish, and you know it,theres lots I love about America

You were kind of nice to me in your PMs, that's true but how do you explain the fact that you're attacking America on PF anytime you can? It's not only about our health care system.

go and tell the large % of americans

as I said, most of them don't know where to get help. I'm not against the health care reform in general as long as we can afford it.

but Im old enough to remember a time when people actually retained information and could pass it on relativly acuratly

Don't forget that the information that people accumulate always comes from other people who write it and it's rarely unbiased. No one knows the real truth about anything. Just look how often people argue about historical facts and why is it so, it's because just about any country has its own version of it. The only thing that is really convincing is what you can see and touch. Then again, it still will be your personal opinion based on your preferences.

Is that meant to make the situation look better??

Not better but it's more realistic to say that people can get help if they know how.
many people here don't have any insurance and still visit doctors and the bill is paid by one of the local charities. Did you know about it? I bet you didn't.

Look, why don't I discuss about the UK much? Simply because I've never lived there and I would make myself look stupid if tried to say something and wouldn't be able to back it up with some real facts. What makes you an America expert? How long have you lived here to know so much about us or do you just depend your knowledge about us on your media or what other people tell you? I lived in Europe, especially in Germany and Poland and I know what their media says about us. What they say is often biased and definitely not America friendly.

negative or posotive,it is still someones opinion..

yes but opinions are always biased this way or another and nothing of it is to be taken for granted.

only a fool thinks everything is rosey in their garden simply because its their garden.

No one here says that it's "rosey" but if you want to criticize it, you have to come and live here for a longer while otherwise it will always be a "breadless art" type of discussion.

I have a Tory government here now, which I hate with a passion, hardly makes me anti british does it?

Well, I don't know how many times I already said that I don't like my current government. I guess, that makes us brothers in arms, lol

Oh,pleez, the evidence is all over the net

evidence for what? that the US let's people die (utter bs)

if it's allover the net, don't you think it makes one more reliable to just post it instead to speculate.
You only back him up because you also don't like America (you know and I know I'm right here), otherwise you'll be also screaming for links.

To your information, Americans can get all kinds of help (also medical) from hundreds (better said, thousands) of different charities all around the country. The problem is that many Americans don't know about their options about where and how to get some help.

I choose to dismiss his posts since he often proved his very negative opinion about us.

/investments/stock-markets/what-went-wro ng-at-lehman-brothers-03809.aspx

Does it prove that the US let's its people die?

Besides, I asked marek a question not you. Did he hire you to defend him?
