South Londoners like me never call ourselves cockneys, although the accents are very similar.

and yet if you were born in St Thomas Lambeth, apparently you would officially be a cockney...

Cockney (is that still a thing?), something like RP and Irish.... and that's about it.

among the older white people, yes, but of course a lot of them have died or moved out.
The London accent these days is quite different,

I would see no point in understanding accents of a place where u are not going to live...

Just looking at a map of the vote shows clearly that it was small-town England and Wales (aside from the narrow vote in Brum) that led the Brexit vote. That's not a slur, it's just a fact,

no it's not. Ceredigion (a large chunk of 'smalltown' Wales) was largely pro EU.

that's really not true dolno is it? Job seekers allowance pays approximately £60 per week, certainly not enough to purchase an Ifone. Do the math. food/bills/?

From that money you are expected to pay about £20 to ur landlord to top up the rent that is not paid, and prove that u are spending at least 30 hours a week jobseeking. Does that sound good to you?

I really wish people would stop spouting nonsense about the 'generous' benefits system of which they patently have no experience.

I used to go into a milk bar in Gorzow which has sadly now gone. I loved the zinc countertops and the servers who looked like school dinner ladies. It was remarkably cheap as well.

he could have been the victim of bullying - don't be so quick to blame him, tell ur class that they don't get to 'reject' a new kid on the first day.

Careful that you dont make a snap judgement (kids like this..?) and join in with the bullying. Teachers do this without realising.

well the problem is that the only people for whom a job like this might be profitable, is someone sharing four to a room. Now, young immigrant workers are happy to live like that for a year or so. Brits are not, esp if they have families. Ergo, we are 'lazy'.

It's like my Bulgarian neighbours., working at the meat factory (British need not apply) and living in shitey substandard accomodation which is cheap. A british person would take one look at their accommodation and laugh.
