History / If i could write European history i would unite Europe under Polish language [67]

yes, its truth. If i could write European history i would unite Europe under Polish language and all that only speaking truth, not suggesting some right wing oriented ideology. Such a Europe, based on Polish language would be Europe of true Europeans, real European Union based on European heritage.

How is this possible? Simple, from Balkan to the Baltic, from the south to the north of Europe, from the west to the east of Europe, Polish language is biggest alive language that stays in direct connection with ancient native European language.

We just have to be honest and would be honest peace in Europe. For this reason, for the sake of historical justice and scientific truth, Serbs see Poland as the West, not Germany, France, Britain or USA.

Polska! Polska! Polska!

Genealogy / Are Poles aware of Thracian aspect in original roots of Polish ethos? [69]

I don't think that Poles came from Balkan.Actually I find it impossible. In my opinion they most probably came from the area which is now central Ukraine

impossible. When Ice age finished on Balkan and people started to migrate along the Danube River, Ukraine territory was still for long under the ice.

Also, have in mind that Serbs have name LEDJANI (Lech) for Poles. LEDJANI in Serbian coming from word LED (ice).

Then, if Swedes originate from Thracians, meaning Sarmatians, Poles for sure originate from the same source. After all, Poles remembered their Sarmatian roots much batter then Swedes.

Thracians: Ancestors of the Swedes

SWEDISH WEB SITE

osterholm.info/thracian.html

The origins of the Thracians, and thus the Swedes, can be traced back to secular and biblical history. Chapters 9 and 10 of Genesis describe how the nations developed from Noah's three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Recorded history continually verifies the biblical account of the spread of nations.

After the Greek victory over the Persians (449 BC), the Persian king Xerxes (486-465 BC) established for himself a large army among whose soldiers Herodotus mentions Thracians from northwest Asia Minor, who are described as follows:

"The Thracians joined the expedition wearing fox caps, wearing long coats under their vivid colored capes. Their calf-high footwear was made of deerskin. They were equipped with spears, light shields and small daggers."

What is biggest European ethos? Slavs of course, they always were.

From above link >>>

Dio Cassius, Roman historian in the 2nd century AD, wrote "let us not forget that a Trajan was a true-born Thracian."

Thousands of Trojan warriors left the city of Troy during the 11th century BC. They came north and captured land along the banks of the river Don (southwestern Russia), a major trade route. The locals named the Trojan conquerors the "Aes," meaning "Iron People," for their superior weaponry. The tribes of Trojan Aes would eventually move north, settling in present-day Scandinavia.

and mixed with germanic tribes which were living easter of Oder.

also impossible. In that time there was no any `Germanic` tribes/ethos. Its myth of German historical school. Just later in history existed Roman province of Germania and was populated with Slavs. When those Slavs from Roman province of Germania were Romanized and then Germanized, German ethos was born and named by the name of province- Germania.

amazing, amazing... all this is about Thracians. once when we established correlation between Thracians and Sarmatians we are fascinate with proportions of untold history of Slavs, particularly of Poles (considering that we are on Polish forum).

Tharcains (Sarmatians) in the deepest past were stretched from Anatolia via Balkan to the Baltic. Then, more later from west of Europe to the Ind river. Great, amazing, fascinating, successful people and civilization. And those Thracians were nothing but our Proto-Slavic ancestors. Thracians, Sarmatians, Scythians, Hittites, Cimerians, Celts, Gauls, Iliryans, Dardanians, Dacians, Spartans, Trojans... all those ethic designations were/are actually part of impossible deep and rich, fascinating and beautiful Slavic past.

The Conquest of Anatolia by the Carpatho-Danubians

dacia.org/history/anatol_e.html

Anatolia had been - for several centuries - subject to a Balkan tribal federation - the Phrygians, whose king Midas became legendary for the opulence of Gordion, the capital." One should not forget that only a few km east of Anatolia, another empire - the Urartu Kingdom - flourished, only to disappear into the black hole of history.

Between the Greek colonies on the shores of the Thracian Sea and the Phrygians, another Thracian kingdom was soon founded - the Lydians'. In roughly the 6th century BC, Anatolia was once more invaded, this time by the [b]Cimmerians (themselves of Thracian origin).

in our search for deepest Polish roots we inevitably coming to Balkan as Polish starting point. This goes for all the Sarmatians and we can say that their first steps on European soil, after Ice age was finished started from Balkan. That`s why there, on Balkan, Sarmatian name (by official linguistic science) was preserved in form of Serbian ethnic name. But, if we follow Danube river, we actually follow steps of first Sarmatians. That`s why on the line Balkan-Baltic, along the Danube river we always founding new traces of Serbian name as designation for ethoses (Lusatian and Balkan Serbs), as form of culture (Polish Sarmatism).

Obviously, Sarmatian name represent once universal Proto-Slavic ethic name. Bearers of Serbian/Sorbian name just preserved in use that old original, same way as Poles preserved memory on Sarmatism.

So, all Slavs, including Poles, are autohtonous (native) people on their own land, not some unknown newcomers invaders as Germanic scholars suggests in their science with pollitical background. But, not only that, Proto-Slavs were first Europeans, maybe even ancestral race of all Europeans.

The Mystery of The Thracians

Thomas A. Emmert. Serbian Golgotha, Kosovo, 1389, New York, 1990. [selections, translated texts relating to the "Kosovo Legend."]

pp. 93-95: From the second half of the fifteenth century, Ducas, in his History of the Byzantines, shows a warm emphathy for the Serbs:

In that same year Orkhan, the ruler of the Turks, died bequeathing his dominion to his son Murad who, having become the master of the Thracian cities, besieged Adrianople and took possession of all of Thessaly with the exception of Thessaloniki. Since he now held practically all the lands of the Romans, he advanced to the Triballi [Serbs].

here, we mentioned Thracians/Tribally designated as Serbs, in old Byzantine chronicles

Thracians according Herodotus:

Spot this:

Triballi

The Triballi were an ancient Thracian tribe whose dominion was around the plains of south Serbia and west Bulgaria, at the Angrus and Brongus (the South and West Morava) and the Iskur River, roughly centered where Serbia and Bulgaria are joined.

This Thracian tribe has etymologically been connected with the Serbs, as many medieval Byzantine historians referred to the Serbs as the Triballians (Serbian name for Triballians is "Srblji, Thracians is rašani - the first Serbian state was Rascia, present-day Serbia). Trebinje, a present city of Herzegovina and historical Serbian principality (Travunija, Triballia) has also been connected with this tribe. The Triballi had received influences from Celts, Scythians and Illyrians.

Triballi

Triballi -main Thracian tribe

Now, to connect name of Sarmatia and Thracia >>>

Raci

Raci (Раци, Hungarian: Rác, (pl.) Rácok, German: Ratzen, Raize, (pl.) Raizen, Ratzians, Rasciani, Rascians) was a name used to designate Serbs, or sometimes, in a wider perspective, all South Slavs, in the Middle Ages and the early modern times. The name was primary used by Hungarians and Germans and it derived from the name of medieval Serbian principality - Raška (Rascia). The southern parts of the Pannonian Plain were also named Raška (Rascia in Latin, Ráczság or Ráczország in Hungarian and Ratzenland or Rezenland in German).

SRBI / SRBLJI / RASHANI (original forms) = SARMATI / TRIBALLI/ THRACIANS / TRACI (forms written and pronounced by foreigners, Greek and Latin authors)

If someone, for example, asked ancient (all to the middle age) Serbs who are LEDJANI, only answer would be ``its our own people that once in deep past went to the north, on frozen lands``. Yes, LEDJANI is Serbian form of LECH, oldest Polish ethnic designation and means `people from the ice`.

So Poles, Serbs would tell you that Poles originate from Balkan, that early Polish ancestors along the Danube river slowly (after Ice age was finished, some 12.000 years ago- in that time already Slavic speaking!) dispersed from Balkan to what is today`s Poland and further. In that part of Europe, on the north of Europe, ancestors of Poles were first Whites, pioneers that conquered nature of Europe, not other Europeans.

There are also other branches of Proto-Slavs that bypassed Anatolia and Balkan on their historical path and arrived in Europe via Caucasus/Eurasia (i don`t speak of Russians here, considering that genetic science confirmed that Russian genetic stock came from Poland). That other branch later mixed with the Danubian branch, contributing to all today existing Slavs. Anyway, its just ancient story of inter-Slavic migrations. But Balkan is the main source, ancestral place for bulk of our population. And, that ancient Proto-Slavic Balkan-Baltic Danubian line gave roots to the Western civilization.

Please don't change the topic of the thread.

only this explanation

And what percentage of Russia do you see as being Slavic, as opposed to Mongoloid and other mixes? How pure is it?

Russia a state is based on Slavic heritage, Slavic culture and Slavic linguistics. There are foreign influences on Russians same as there are influences on Whites in USA, EU, Canada, Australia, Germany, France or Britain, etc, etc.

Always in good relations.Actually I don't remember any war against Serbs

only in antiquity as i can remind myself. Since then, we had some political disputes but never hostility and conflicts. But modern Greece deny antiquity to the Serbs no matter that it is absolutely obvious that Greeks wouldn`t even exist if there was no Slavic antiquity. Greece should support Slavic autohtonistic theories. It can`t be harmful for Greece. Hellenes and Proto-Slavs coexisted and should continue to coexist. Greeks could only profit from good relations with Slavs. Anyway, best formula for us is coexistence on distance.

Recently, Serbians are upset when Greece threatening Macedonia.

You know what Grk (Greek) means in Serbian language, on most archaic Slavic language?

GRK (Greek) is same what is GORAK = bitter in Eng.

stupid, stupid and greedy EU. As proper Borg, EU wanted Greece in order to be able to claim European antiquity absolutely. But, Serbians from long time ago, exactly from era of European antiquity learned how Greeks are of bitter taste. In middle age Greeks continued to be bitter. they refused to support Serbians when our Tzar Dushan suggested global regional defensive plan against Turkish invaders.

Before our ancestors started to call them Greeks they were known as Hellenes. Then happened Troja, Sparta, Bylazora, etc, etc... and, Sarmatians (Thracians) started to use name of BITTER (GRK) for Greeks.

So, since the oldest days Serbians tried to and often managed to be in good neighboring relations with Greeks. Good but on distance.

Now, all Europe would learn. And pay. Its happened always when Europe ignored Serbian experience and reasons.

Off-Topic / Slavic languages - oldest European languages. [12]

If we examine Slavic languages we must conclude that Slavic languages without any doubts represent oldest European languages.

Similarities between Slavic languages in general and ancient Sanskrit are fascinating. Then, there are numerous words in all European languages (including Slavic) that are regularly described as remnants of once existed, so called `Indo-European language` no matter that true archaic meanings of those words still could be explained only and exclusively in modern day Slavic languages. Seams that so called `Indo-European language` appear in discussions regularly, as some kind `deux as mahina` (solution), when somebody wants to avoid to point on Slavic languages. But, truth is that only Slavic languages, from all European languages, exist and live in continuity for probably more then 10.000 years.

Words (names) such are TARA, SVASTIKA, DRUID, SKOT (SCOT), SKIT (Scythian), KELT (Celt), GAL (Gaul),... telling us much, much more when they are analyzed from the angle of some Slavic language.

Polish language, considering being one of main Slavic languages represent important and inevitable source in any discussion about European linguistics which seek to be serious.

Developed on ancient Proto-Slavic Balkan-Baltic Danubian line, Polish language, for sure, must be one of oldest European languages.

anyway... more on Poland and Poles as autohtonous people on their own....

(e) The totally absurd thesis of the so called 'late arrival' of the Slavs in Europe must be replaced by the scenario of Slavic continuity from Paleolithic, and the demographic growth and geographic expansion of the Slavs can be explained, much more realistically, by the extraordinary success, continuity and stability of the Neolithic cultures of South-Eastern Europe (the only ones in Europe that caused the formation of tells) (Alinei 2000, fc.b)

Oldest Byzantine chronicles used to designate Balkan Serbs as Triballi, who were known as main Thracian tribes

Thomas A.

Since he now held practically all the lands of the Romans, he advanced to the Triballi [Serbs]. He destroyed many of their fortresses and towns and took their inhabitants captive; he then transported them to the Asiatic shore over the straits of the Chersonese. When Lazar, the son of Stefan, kral of Serbia, and himself kral of Serbia at that time, beheld these things, he assembled all his forces and joined battle with the tyrant; many fell on both sides. There took place afterwards an incredibly novel stratagem.

The Prospects for Catholic Unity With the Orthodox

Tuesday September 22, 2009
catholicism.about.com/b/2009/09/22/the-prospects-for-catholic-unity-with-the-orthodox.htm

Last week, Catholic blogs lit up with optimistic headlines such as "Is Catholic-Orthodox Unity in Sight?" They were prompted by two events: an interview given to Italy's Corriere della Sera by the Catholic archbishop of Moscow, Paolo Pezzi; and the first visit to Rome of Russian Orthodox Archbishop Hilarion of Volokolamsk, the president of the Department for External Church Affairs of the Russian Orthodox patriarchate of Moscow.

The interview with Archbishop Pezzi does indeed paint a rosy picture. According to the National Catholic Register, the archbishop declared that reunification "is possible, indeed it has never been so close," and he predicted that it "could happen soon, also within a few months."

Slavic world could greatly profit from reunion of Catholic and Orthodox Churches.

i dont get what you mean by that ^^

Vatican has two main aspects

first, it is religious aspect and Poland here enjoy significant respect
Second aspect is Vatican`s foreign policy (Vatican`s policy as state). Speaking from the angle of Balkan Slavs (particularly Serbs, both- Catholic and Orthodox), it is evident that German interests had/has major influence on Vatican`s stance on the region. If Poland manage to increase her influence on Vatican, we can expect more balanced Vatican`s stance on Slavs in the region. But, how could Poland affect crucial Vatican`s policy without provoking hostile German respond, i don`t know

God Bless Poland and good luck to its future aspirations!

Poland would for sure need much of both, a lot of good luck and a lot of blessings from God

there are many `if`. Some of those if, in my opinion:

1. if Poland manage to successfully balance between western Europe/USA and Russia, speaking of her policy in general
2. if Poland strengthen her relations with Ukraine and Baltic states without upsetting Russia
3. if Poland strengthen her relations with Serbia and spread her influence on other Balkan Slavs without aggravating her relations with Germany, USA, Britain, France and Turkey

4. if Poland strengthen her economy to the maximum of its potentials without provoking German (on the first place) attention
5. if Poland strengthen spiritually and nationally without provoking other European powers
6. if Poland improve her relations with China without upsetting other world powers
7. if Poland increase her influence on Vatican
8. if Poland increase her influence on Slavic world in general
9. if Poland improve her relations with major world powers such are Japan, India, Basil

Life / I'm from Polish descent. CAN YOU GUYS EXPLAIN THE EU TO ME? [115]

speaking of EU,.... i think that like the UN, it's an organization which has become (probably always was) infested with an extremist left-wing ideology which seeks an utopian world with no nations (especially not Slavic), no `religion` (except Islam eventually), disagreements or points of difference (even if it means violation of international law and treaties). So EU is a delusional idea of a world of `peace and harmony`, while actually speaking of EU we speak about non-democratic conglomerate, some kind of Corporate Republic.

This, from someone commenting on Richard Dawkins book The God Delusion:

"I hope that we'll have some day a planet-wide, religion-free, peace-and-love Utopia: so does the good doctor Dawkins and so did the late John Lennon."

sums it up- it seems to be a very widespread idea, and they're the sorts of maniacs who are destroying countries in the name of their philosophy.

And here's a song by John Lennon, which sums it up even better:

Imagine all the people
Living for today

Clearly a Communistic or Socialist utopia but, what is especially mind blowing, presently with Nazi and Sharia law admixture

Yes. Yes, i sow how EU destroying worlds. i am witness of my time

If EU continue to force its aggressive policy it would generate such a war that nothing won`t remain, nor from rich man's club, nor from EU. However, he targetted Jews FAAAAR more.

its questionable when you put it in global prospective

European Jews (Jewish magnates) always inclined to western Europe, rather then to Slavs. Actually they were quite anti-Slavic and together with magnates from western parts of Europe played significant role during era of slavery, in time of hunt on Slavs

If we understand that and if we know that Hitler in fact defended interests of western European magnates, we can imagine that there is possibility that in some `grandiose` plan, western Europe had mission for Jews. That is creation of Jewish state on Near East. With Israel- Jewish state on Near East, western Europe actually acquired that region in very sophisticate way. We are especially ready to believe so if we understand traditional western European tendency to combine with North Africa and Near East, since Roman times.

Quite probably, Crow.

more then probably

Does any of this explain the EU ?
