News / Polish Independence Day March in Warsaw. Is it going to be the biggest march yet? [1530]

people don't take the same community spirit into doing something practical

How about changing the results of 2015 elections and thus stopping illegal muslim immigration ie. cultural disintegration of Poland. Isn't that practical enough for you?

I'm beginning to see that you don't understand the gravity of changes that took place in Poland. March is just one of the most visible effects of those changes which encompasses the whole country not only in an ideological but also in a very practical way.

such as picking up all the litter in the fields (...) except they wont do that - for they are the very people who dropped it in the first place

Come to Poland a take a walk in a city of Warsaw, Kracow, Gdansk, Poznan and then come back to London and compare the cleanliness of the streets in Poland with the UK. The streets of London looks like a pigpen when compared to Poland.

I've always thought that Poles are very quick to embrace token things like that

So great that Poland has you, @delphiandomine. The country would lost its moral compass without you :-)

Cultural integrity - what is that in practical terms?

Ask Sweden, a rape capital of the Europe, which has already multiple no-go zones in the country and a city of Malmo is practically being controlled by muslim gangs

dailywire.com/news/12466/how-muslim-migration-made-malmo-sweden-crime-michael-qazvini

Ask Britain where a group of children were run over with a van by terrorists on Westminster bridge

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017_Westminster_attack

and blown up on some celebrity concert in Manchester

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manchester_Arena_bombing

Ask Germany which has already tasted 'cultural enrichment' with sexual assaults done by "refugees"

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Year%27s_Eve_sexual_assaults_in_Germany

As a side note: is it practical for Germany to spend billions of Euro on muslims migrants which will never repay even 5% of that cost to German economy? [99% of them are still unemployed 2 years after arrival]

independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/germany-refugees-spend-20-billion-euros-2016-angela-merkel-crisis-budgets-middle-east-north-africa-a7623466.html

Just because those pictures became normal in Western Europe doesn't mean that is this is normal, because it's not.

"Sadiq Khan: London mayor says being prepared for terror attacks 'part and parcel' of living in a major city"

independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/sadiq-khan-london-mayor-terrorism-attacks-part-and-parcel-major-cities-new-york-bombing-a7322846.html

Cultural integrity means not living your life in constant fear and uncertainty. So both safety and cultural integrity are a very practical things and two sides of the same coin.

patriotism and cultural conservatism. But what do those things mean in practical terms?

Well, let's start with a practical move of not letting millions of so called "refugees" into the country and changing our culture and demography forever.

And let's not forget about safety. The clash of cultures (gang rapes, terrorist attacks) in Germany has shown us that "multikulti" will be a violent and not a peaceful process.

So safety and cultural integrity.

Those are all very practical things.

What in the name of all that's normal is Red Pilled??

Atch, what is completely normal in Poland, like patriotism and cultural conservatism, is considered "extreme" in some Western societies and called fascism or even nazism

I do think thoigh that if undesirable elements from all over Europe attend then the organizers must pay for the policing costs.

"undesirable elements"? That's your personal opinion. For the match organizers the European people concerned about their cultural heritage are not "undesirable elements".

Or maybe you're talking about ANTIFA hooligans, which used to come to Poland from Germany to start riots and to interfere with a legal march?

Would I be welcome as a foreigner with Polish roots?

Of course you would be welcome to come. Many foreign Red Pilled participants, mostly from other European countries but not only, will be present on the Independence March in Warsaw.

The whole thing is turning into a PR disaster for the government.

I repeat:

Independence March is a grassroots movement built by regular Poles without any involvement from the government. That's what makes it so real and resistant to any possible political changes that may occur in the future.

That's what also makes some commentators in media so furious.

Since they cannot directly attack the government on this occasion they have to unload their frustrations on Poles marching on Independence Day and lose any credibility they ever had.

Isn't Angela Merkel going to participate?

She may, but I think it's to late to make an accurate Merkel's pinata :-P

No, it is because this government is all talk and bluster but no action.

You're confusing a lengthy process of collecting necessary documents and analysis [and also calculations of war loses] which takes place now with "no action"

And also a recent consultations with Greek government which has more experience in this matter will be very helpful.

dw.com/en/poland-greece-team-up-on-nazi-era-war-reparations-demands/a-45836168

And I also repeat my request:

I want to see an official document where Poland wave away any reparation claims from Germany.

Produce me a photocopy of such a document. It should be easy since, in your opinion, it's a clear case.

I want to see official papers with signatures of both: Polish and German officials (from DDR and especially West Germany) and clearly written black on white that Poland has waved away any claims for reparations from Germany for WWII.

"Don't know whether she loves me or not ?"

No, she doesn't. She is a cold hearted ***** :-P

I am feeling like a fool

If you're feeling that way there's a good chance that you are one

My advice is, forget about her. Get drunk and then get involved in a bar fight

No need to thank me.

News / "It's too late for Germany" (but not for Poland) [1798]

The PM of Poland told that Kohl in one of his phone calls.

That's a hard evidence all right. Last week some loony beggar in front of Tesco told me that the world is ending, but it wasn't over the phone so it was still more official.

Now let's get serious:

I want to see official documents with signatures of both: Polish and German officials with clearly written black in white that Poland has waved away any claims for reparations.

The Bierut's "declaration" from 1953 it's just a piece of paper without much legal weight. And it's only signed by Bierut, no one else.

In 1951 Vyacheslav Molotov (yes, the same one who signed a secret treaty with von Ribbentrop before WWII) met with Otto Grotewohl (DDR minister)
and they made a declaration. Here me now: the declaration was made only between the USSR and DDR, that is EAST Germany.

West Germany wasn't even included nor a an official part in those talks. And the DDR has officially and legally ceased to exist in 1990.

So not only the USSR had war reparation talks over our heads (Poland wasn't part of it) but they made a "deal" with East Germany ONLY!

So the only viable legal grounds of German defense against paying war reparations is a 1990 "Treaty of Good Neighbourship" between Poland and Germany.

Show me one sentence in this treaty which says anything about resignation from war reparations by Poland.

News / "It's too late for Germany" (but not for Poland) [1798]

Our friend here seems remarkably unwilling to discuss the issue of Poland getting repatriations from Russia

Why not? I can discuss those too. Still, German reparations are much more substantial and are ready to harvest.

With a German chancellor letting 2 million muslim illegals into Germany, with a 4 million Turkish minority living in Germany who are more loyal to Erdogan than to Bundesrepublik it would be unwise not to press this issue now.

Cause Tacitus is right on this matter: Germany will soon become muslim, so we have to deal with this issue when the actual Krauts are still alive :-)

News / "It's too late for Germany" (but not for Poland) [1798]

This is where you are wrong. The facts regarding war reparations are all on Germany's side

I meant solid facts about World War II and German crimes. Strong emotional content based on facts. Do you think that most people in the world would give a damn about your slippery lawyers lingo? All that they would see is a victim and an aggressor. And the fact that aggressor doesn't want to compensate for his crimes.

But I bet such a fine orator as yourself would convince them otherwise :-)

With every year that passes, Poland loses the moral argument and it becomes more and more ridiculous to claim

So you proved me right, that a moral argument - and not a messy legal one - would be decisive here

Germany never paid reparations to Namibia, and never made any agreement regarding the loan it forcibly took from Greece

Poland is not Namibia, nor Greece. Buckle up, my friend :-)

News / "It's too late for Germany" (but not for Poland) [1798]

@Tacitus, you're quite reasonable man, for a German, so imagine this future situation:

> Poland wants WWII compensations from Germany

> Germany says: - No way! We won't give you a single euro Polen

> The result is that we're in a clinch situation here

> Yet Poland doesn't forget about rightful reparations and keeps mentioning them on occasions and also uses it as a tool in negotiations with Germany to puts some pressure on the opponent

> The more Poland grows - economically and politically - the greater the soft power of the country becomes and the voice of Poland is better heard around the world

> And here's the best thing: all that Poland says its truth . As simple as that. Not some anti-German propaganda but hard facts. Poland only mention about German crimes on Polish land during WWII, commemorates it, make movies, internet videos and TV spots about it, writes books and articles to the press, makes computer games with Polish narrative, street banners and more. WWII, Nazis etc. is still a very attractive subject to capture the world's attention.

> How is Germany going to battle that? With lies? With German propaganda? That worked in the 30's but not in the age of the internet

> So the only thing Germany can do is to remain silent ... and count losses

> Now let's look at the position Germany who worked so hard to build a brand for their own country after WWII and to become such a "likeable state with civilized citizens" and an "export champion"

> At what point the cost of the damage to that image would be greater than rightful war compensations that have to be paid for Poland?

Oh, I do care about facts. Especially when the matter is as slippery as a legal status of Federal Republic of Germany

regarding the war between Germany and Poland have been definitely dealt with anyway

Nothing is definite except of death and taxes

Why would you need it anyway? Running out of space for new Germans from Middle East and Africa?

The Federal Republic of Germany is not a successor state to the German Reich

Well, actually they are. Wrong again delphiadomine. Even a broken clock is right twice a day, but not you. How do you do it?

Spike, ol' man, the sketch was tacky way back then, and it's even tackier nowadays:-)

Nah, it's still funny :-) I'm a huge Monty Python and John Cleese fan

When are we going to let go of the stereotypes? They're only slowing us down and impeding true multi-cultural communication.

I bet that's what would Angela Merkel say when asked: "why on earth did you let 2 million illegals into Germany" :-D

about those who were still fighting the war 30 years after its' end

Nope, only the military operations have ceased. The war is still on.

The compensations still weren't paid to those who have lost the most.

I know that for Germany it would be great if we all accepted status quo. I say, let's change the status quo and then we can have perfect peace that you'll have to accept too, how about that? :-)

20% of the Russian budget goes to weapons and the army.

Modern Russia suffers from a "former superpower syndrome". They can't accept that their role in the world has declined. And they are addicted to a powerful drug: FEAR.

As long as the world fears them they are happy. They may not eat well and live in poor conditions but they need a regular dosage of that drug.

Russia has a semi-3rd world economy and doesn't produce much more than crude mineral ore, oil, natural gas and weapons. Most of regular goods Russia imports from Europe and China.

the stereotypes about Germans are soo funny and so totally right! Heh:)

It makes a world of a difference on which side of the WWII front you were on, BratwurstBoy.

Sitting in a watchtower is Auschwitz with an assault rifle ready to shoot is not the same thing as being a prisoner in the very same camp. So don't play a naive German schoolgirl with us, will you? :-)

There is a perception, rightly or wrongly, that Germans are trying to dominate Europe and doing a very bad job of it.

Totalen Krieg. The German approach was to totally eliminate some nations of Europe and then making German slaves from those who were chosen to survive. All of this by the means of Total War that is without respecting any basic human laws. On top of 6 million citizens they also methodically killed Polish elites en masse and completely destroyed Polish capital city of Warsaw. They wanted to kill the people but also to destroy the culture that they hated.

They didn't take the possibility that they may lose into account.
And I bet that they were very surprised that those "silly" civilized Brits and Americans treated them so well after war.

And now all they want to be "likeable" and are honestly surprised that there is no national holiday of "kiss your lovely German neighbour day" in Poland.

Life / Political correctness in Poland [210]

China so far has based their impressive growth on Western technologies and on manufacturing Western products.

The whole Chinese society is based on Confucianism which favors collectivism and doesn't value individualism. And the individualism is a driving force behind innovation.

Don't be so hasty with your conclusions, Tacitus.

The political pendulum swings back and forth.

It was on the left side for quite a long time now and it's slowly moving back to the right side

I believe that Germans calls that a Zeitgeist

Aunt Wiki says:

"Persisting differences in culture and mentality among the old East Germany and old West Germany are often referred to as the "wall in the head" ("Mauer im Kopf").[1] "Ossis" ("Easties") are stereotyped as racist, poor and largely influenced by Russian culture.[2] "Wessis" ("Westies") are usually considered snobbish, dishonest, wealthy, and selfish."

While tempting to stereotype

Let's be fair though, Lyzko, the whole Western world stereotypes Germans. I don't even know if there's one single regular German left in Germany, just walking stereotypes like a good 'ol @BratwurstBoy here :-)

And lets remember that American Germans were the ones who invented so called "polish jokes" which depicted all Poles in a less than favourable way.

Another thing is that when a person brags about his country's accomplishments he also needs to accountable for its failures.

I wish we had some Finns on this forum.
