Love / Categories of Polish girls [37]

Fantasy criteria are the exclusive preserve of southern. Others know that many Polish women just to like to go out and have a good time but tend not to be horny.

News / POLAND IS 4TH BEST PLACE TO LIVE IN EUROPE [60]

I meant the paella, espana.

I think I could use a trip to Kraków and beyond. I can't keep judging Poland based on this wee place I live in.

Thanks, espana, I thought so. My student is from there and she said the same :) How about in Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands?

Poland has to introduce Mac Cheese pierogis or sticky gouda pierogi. I like the 3 main types but it could be better.

Spain should be near the top for having paella alone. God's food of choice :) Where's the best paella from, espana, which region?

I like Silesian food in winter. Poland really has great winter food.

Aha, travelling is a fantastic experience for sure. I've enjoyed almost all the places I've been to and choose not to rank them against Poland. They all have their own merits.

No, I meant that people like you should bat back harder at those things that irritate you here. I don't like the word should but there we go. Is Poland really so lacking in appeal that you'd rather live elsewhere, Zeti?

What I can't figure out is how some Poles don't bat back more at their fellow countrypeople that irritate them. Too many want to leave.

I wouldn't change that, even for a bit of change :) Poland has been good to me.

It's only when you lose your taste buds do you realise what you are really missing. I can't taste a darned thing. Top pierogi at Gazdówka, wędliny and bread rolls are just some of the many things I miss.

Another bit of nonsense research, like most of it out there. People are just bored and feel the need to do such things.

I like living here in Poland for the most part but I see a change in the future.

My old 'some things and good and some things are bad' didn't go down very well half an hour ago. I think the Polish eminent lawyer I was talking to wanted me to cut the bad bit, LOL.

Many are highly critical of their country, McCoy.

Good first para above, NMP. Salaries are not rising in line with other changes like tax and inflation. You need to be creative here to be successful.

News / €11,700 to every migrant returning to the Polish capital and starting a business there. [110]

I agree with Wrocław. Furthermore, why should the EU fund this? Why doesn't the Polish government not dip into its own coffers for once? The EU should not bail out Polish incompetence. We are always told that the smartest people in the world are here so let's see it. Other entrepreneurs raise funds in their own way so why not here?

The funny thing is, 30-40% percent of Poles would disagree. 4th best, hardly. The price of property here is prohibitively expensive for many.

History / What was better in Poland under communism? [67]

Pol3, do you always wake and bake? ;) Based on what my mother-in-law told me, people felt more secure in their jobs given the emphasis on full employment.
