Language / Are the context of these Polish sentences correct? [101]

Zobaczymy się jutro? = Will we see each other tomorrow? :) :) Siebie is more oneself. Patrzył na siebie, he was looking at himself :)

Czy to tylko ja tego nie rozumiem? = Is it only I that doesn't understand it/this?

Czy mógłbyś tu podejść? = Could you come here?

Some corrections, Zeti :)

Love / Unmarried couples in Poland = pathology [310]

Problems persist throughout marriages, Pol3. Just look at divorce rates around the world. Is it an ideal institution in your ideas?

If you know how to touch, wow, the sky's the limit and the day is yours :) It's worth learning, trust me!

Pol3, emotional reactions to social phenomenon rarely work. You pull BS too often and are the master of excessive simplification. Now stop knocking those that cohabit.

Keep it all legit. The worst thing I have heard of is spiking. I'm not implying that you would do it as I don't know you. If she likes you, she will drink with you. Simple!

Better the devil you know :) I'm on heavy medication for a cold and I really doubt its efficacy. Alcohol is tried and tested :) :) If she interprets your gesture as sleazy then she is doubting your sincerity.

Yeah, I must say that there is a bigger difference between a sober Pole and a tipsy Pole than with other nations I have noticed. Drink is the glue which brings Poles together. Bars tend to be lively and attitudes relaxed. I feel much safer here too. When they are sober, the claws are out and they are more argumentative. Drink really loosens things up.

Ooh, it's a matter of preference. What's good for me may not be good for her. For a girl, Redds or Desperados. Straight out beer? Perła or £omża as they are crisper. Polish girls come alive more than many when tipsy.

Poles touch a bit less than Latin Europeans but still much more than Asians. Japanese people have problems with real contact in their society but are a bit more adventurous behind closed doors.

Tease whatever's bothering her out. Maybe even try some alcohol to loosen her up. Be careful with that, though, as it can amplify deep-seeted insecurities. Play it by ear :)

They have their moments. As HP say, the best things come to those who wait. My wife sometimes just does her own thing and appears aloof but I know she is just in her own space and planning her next creative thing. Give them their space! When they are affectionate, they really are. Waking up to sb squeezing and hugging you is nice. No smushy stuff here, just the pure enjoyment of laying next to sb.

Zed did have a point about sources. Try consulting a range of them to get a broader and more consistent picture. We've all made the mistake of overly literal translations. When I studied French, I can remember saying 'a complet rapidement' rather than 'a toutes jambes' for 'at full speed'. Big mistake! You learn from that and pick yourself up by the boot straps.

PF is for experimentation. I'm aware that I've really moved into a comfort zone with Polish yet I can always learn from the natives, always. I will always remain a strong amateur in amongst consummate pros.

Zed, that's right. I use colloquial expressions a fair bit :) It shows you can shake it up and be versatile :)

I've never heard anyone use kieleszek with wine. To me, it's a vodka shot glass :) I use flaszka because I live in Silesia :)

Where is the best place that reality is shown as acknowledged in society? Through the law, Pol3, through the law. It's been 11 years since I've studied it but the law on cohabitation is fairly extensive. It's a well-regulated phenomenon given peoples' natural hesitation before tying the knot.

Your focus should be on exposing the Catholic label as fraudulent and meaningless. Start there and start waking up to human nature!! Everyone would like healthy and happy kids but is that the case?

Because that just isn't reality, Pol3. Not everyone conforms to your idealistic visions of life. Your complete lack of reality is what I object to.

Love / Categories of Polish girls [37]

Don't mistake offering money payments to them for them being horny, southern ;)

Try caressing and kissing girls here in a bar and you will see the reaction, southern. I doubt Polish mothers overly focus on it tbh

News / €11,700 to every migrant returning to the Polish capital and starting a business there. [110]

There is somewhat less steering by the Polish govt, Seanny. Countries with the EURO tend to charge exorbitant prices. When I was in Austria 5 years ago, the EURO prices were through the roof. Poland was MUCH MUCH cheaper than Austria then. It still is cheaper but the EURO has a spiral tendency. Trust me, everything would shoot up under the EURO and the poor would suffer greatly.
