Love / DO POLISH MEN DATE OLDER WOMEN? [169]

I bet he will, so will I
Smingus-Dingus

I bet:) :)
I have a friend who's getting married to a guy 8 years younger and they get along really well. To some age makes a difference, to other's it doesn't.

But when the 40-years old turns 70 and her husband is 50, I think he'll go for a younger woman....?

Love / DO POLISH MEN DATE OLDER WOMEN? [169]

I used to date a guy that was 6 months younger than I was. He was immature and I always felt like I am smarter than him because I'm older.

Then married a guy 5 years older than me, bad marriage. He was set in his ways and he didn't want to learn anything new and hated everything and complained all the time.

Now I have Polish Guy who's only a year older and that makes him perfect. Not too old, yet young enough to have some fun!!!

And fun he'll get with me!!! hahahaha

Love / Polish Girls vs Russian Girls [813]

every woman has something beautiful inside or outside of her...

I worked with this battle-axe who was really mean, short, fat and ugly and nobody liked her. She had a bad personality. So sometimes you have to dig deeper to find that beauty...if it's there at all....

Australia / Any Polish people living in Australia [32]

I have a question lef. How do they tax you in Australia?
1.How much do they take out from your paycheck,
2.how much do you pay for property taxes,
3.how much capital gain taxes when you sell property,
4.How much tax do you pay when buying in stores
In the US they tax you on everything you can think of. You buy a house, you pay taxes, buy anything pay taxes(Depending on the state, here it's 5.5%) you sell a house, you pay taxes (40% called capital gains) then you pay property taxes every year on property you own, then if you make a certain amount you pay the goverment more taxes.

You just can't win in the US with all those taxes. How is this situation in Australia?

Travel / Coming to Poland with a pet :) [47]

LOT Polish Airlines allow animals (dogs and cats only) to be transported as checked baggage in the passengers' cabin or in the aircraft's hold. The animal can be accepted for a carriage provided the following requirements are met:

Veterinary Vaccination Book, an Animal's Health Certificate and other documents required by the country of departure, destination or transit to be presented to the respective authorities;

Carriage must be performed in a suitable container in compliance with the size and weight of the animal;
The weight of the animal carried on board may not exceed 8 kilograms container included;
The intention to transport an animal on board should be reported in advance at the time of passenger booking. The service is paid and the charge is payable at LOT Polish Airlines booking and sales offices or at the agents'

The number of animals carried simultaneously by one plane is limited. LOT Polish Airlines also provide transportation of other animals as a cargo.
Passengers traveling with PETS cannot be assigned seats in first rows of class of service.

Once in Poland, you go through customs, show your papers and that's it.

Good site for conversions:
convert-me.com/en/convert/length

why you dont use kilograms and centemeters?

because most people wouldn't know what you're talking about.
The same with temperature. We use Farenheit. Nobody uses Celsius.

USA, Canada / Polish TV in the USA? [43]

In my opinion, the Polish soap operas are better than American ones. In the stupid "General Hospital" and others, all they do is fight, argue, cheat and they act bad. Polish actors look more natural and they don't raise their voices but try to logically explain things.

But this is only my opinion.

News / Polish Immigrants Leave America for Europe [210]

It's those taxes. 1/3 of what you make goes for taxes, and that does not include property taxes ( average around$4.000-$5.000 year depending where you live and the value of your house), school taxes, taxes on everything you buy (except certain foods), taxes on everthing you sell, taxes on your savings, taxes on your phone bill, TV bill, anywhere they can, they tax you. And instead of having a flat tax so everybody pays the same, they go on your income. If you earn more, you pay more. You can never get ahead.
