Love / The age of consent in Poland is only 15 [147]

..or mother, sister, aunt..:)

I found some similar aged perve sending fb messages to my 14 year old girl saying shite like 'I need a hug'. After I had finished wiping the floor with him he didn't come out of his house for 6 weeks. lol.

Can we move away from this idea of women being men's property any time soon?

Love / How common or culturally accepted is divorce in Poland? [43]

yes i think so dolno, because in the eyes of the church, you have never been married.
My mother managed to get remarried in a church despite being divorced after long long chats with the vicar.
A friend of hers was Catholic, and paid loads to the Vatican to annull her first marriage , on the grounds 'that they had been so young'.! !!

calling it "rape porn" and stuff like that. But I enjoyed doing it, because I really like **** like that.

do you think women enjoy being hurt during sex then? or is it just for your own pleasure?

News / How will BREXIT affect the immigrants in UK and Poland. [1114]

I find this to be the same sort of argument meant to shutdown discourse or facts that you don't agree with

well you are wrong , i have no desire to shut anyone down, I would just like them to put their brains into gear before starting the mouth.

America started wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and because of that there are huge amounts of refugees.
To then have an American shouting the odds about refugees in Europe, is a little galling to say the least, and I have every right to point this out.

they know what they want and reject everyone

obviously they don't 'reject everyone' they just reject you.
the law is there to prevent young people being exploited by older predators like yourself.

News / How will BREXIT affect the immigrants in UK and Poland. [1114]

i think it's funny an American going on about migrants being treated too well when
a. American citiizens are treated like dirt by their government (superdome New Orleans, good example) and yet
b. it is a country now made up almost entirely of migrants...and
c. there wouldnt even be half of much of a refugee crisis without American war mongering world wide.

In London i can see immigrants mainly from Iraq, Afghanistan, and Somalia. Now, what do these countries have in common?

If you prefer men, don't be ashamed.

though Roz has probably read him, she's a very well read girl :)) It is Joyce isn't it??

thank you Atch, yes I have read some Joyce.

Dirk, google AIDS/HIV in Europe- it's on the rise but due to lack of health and drugs education not diseased immigrants.

One person from a country that shall remain nameless, as an example, was telling my son 'no use condom, no feel nice'

Scabies isnt not as simple as taking a pill or cream and they're all gone immediately.

yeh its also about living conditions.
However it is fairly simple to treat. I know because I have had it. It is NOT comprable with HIV.
BTW you are starting to sound a lot like that other poster , the weird one, with your talk of 'slutty women'.

Work / Confused ... 1 yr London Vs Poland Base hiring [30]

oh for goodnees sake Harry you have to get the last word dont you?
Frankly you are not the best ad for the boarding school.
100k is a good salary OK ? Anyone who says they have to send their children off to be abused at weird boarding schools, and so cannot afford to live, is an idiot,

I sent an example of the fees of the most successful girls day school in London, which is obviously good enough for an awful lot of people.

OP if I were you I would choose London, dont listen to people like Harry.
He has never lived in London and just likes arguing and showing off his superior knowledge.

I know a guy on 100k working in the city and even he says he struggles

if someone on 100 k is struggling, then he probably has a coke habit or similar.
What nonsense.

Language / Best book for a language noobie? Learning Polish. [22]

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grammatical_case this is quite a good explanation. Instead of cases in English we have a more inflexible word order and a thousand prepostions...

Language / Best book for a language noobie? Learning Polish. [22]

geochic is your first language English?

OK so you can see the remnants of cases in our language with eg 'he /him/his'. YOu wouldn't say 'that's him book' or 'that's he book' because that would be the wrong case. 'That's his book' is the correct case, (genitive/ownership) and you know this without thinking.

Polish cases are way more extensive and important, and can change many more words in a sentence, including as gumi explained, nouns, or even people's names.

You need the vocabulary of grammar to get your head round this.(accusative/genitive etc )

It is similar in German and Greek, and also Welsh. For example 'mawr' means big but in another sentence it might be 'fawr' but it's the same word.

USA, Canada / Polish or American Education? [180]

In the top ten, five are American, so not really 'vast majority'. I think the US universities offer the breadth and depth as discussed.
