I suggest you read the history of the Ruthenian region its also important to learn about Kieven Rus.

You better educate yourself - it is not as you claim or same ill educated individuals support.
The region was Polish or Lechian but being a border region sometimes was under rule of Kiev, do not equate Kiev with Ukrainian, Significant amount of Ukrainian are Polish peasants gone wild!

Bottom line: truck driver was in the wrong and was treated far better by the police than a person in a similar situation here would be.

Different cultures have different standards of behaviour. Also those standards change in time. For example in middle ages in Europe it was quite normal for men to cry openly.

According to Polish standards the driver behaved strange, I guess he was suppressing his anger and frustration in this way.
No big deal ! There are plenty nutter at large.

Looks like he had some fermented potatoes prior to his sobbing jag. Perhaps he was going through a tough personal emotional time as well. It didn't take much to break him. Pity

I say that he was angry at police for harassing him (or so he thought), However he couldn't tell them to f...off and getting angry fit in front of the police is not good idea at any rate.

So, he wasn't crying, not really - just venting his anger !
