News / Poland PiS' unpopular welfare policies lead to spike in TV purchases and alcohol problems [31]

The worrying thing is the spike in child neglect cases. basically, this typically disastrous PiS policy is, as usual, achieving the opposite of what was intended.

am not sure what was intention of this 500+
..to improve economical life of poor-then they achieved it.
to win votes- they achieved it
or to increase birth rate-doubt it will happen.but cant say for now if thay achieved what they were aiming

UK, Ireland / How might Britain`s withdrawal from EU affect Poles there and here? [474]

dont know any,
not sure if any non British can qualify vote in this referendum. i only spoke with few guys, and nobody seems to care much.brits cant afford to kick our working people.in construction companies in London there is around 80% of stuff is made of EE.cant imagine what would happened if they all are kicked out.it would be disastrous.

tho one who get hit hardest will be those who rely on walfare and in -work benefits.which will be quite hard in London, cus renting cost is high and many poles on low income rely on housing top ups or tax credits.i dont know if Farage knows whats hes doing.

he says he want to replace poles with Indian doctors, but them doctors wont work in construction or in strawberry fields, neither will brits

dunno, doubt Torries have anything to decide regarding better wages.its market regulated thing.less people in sector-means better wages.
employers pay wages money not Torries.
i was in London in 1999 for the first time.it was paradise to work in construction. nowdays is bad cus too many ppl willing to work for pennies

UK, Ireland / How might Britain`s withdrawal from EU affect Poles there and here? [474]

whats so bizarre about it?i though its a legitimate concern and quite possible scenario.not saying it would happen soon, but in 10 years.
about half million EE lives in London.if most of them are forced to leave after Brexit and another 600k indigenous people run away(as they did in recent years) from London, that would massively change religious make up of London.making it almost an Islamic province.

as for answering question in the thread title.it might sound strange, but there is chance that Brexit could improve polish people social and economical status in the UK.

better wages for low paid jobs for those who came here to work.of course the real losers will be those who rely on benefits.

even if hes not radical, god knows who are Muslims gonna vote as next one.point is,indigenous people lost its voting power in their own capital to immigrants.

can anyone be sure,London Muslims wont chose some radical muslim in the future?someone who will demand London to be muslim autonomous caliphate?and then what?civil war?look at kosovo or abhazia ect.

The cafe owner who witnessed the events insists that the killer shouted either 'Britain first' or 'Put Britain first'.

from what i heard, this guy changed story and now says he dint hear anything about "britain first"
plus.there is another thing.she was not target, she got involved in some fight between 2 guys and tried to brake them apart.
all media bs trying to blame british patriots

News / Poland leads in child well-being -- UNICEF [75]

scotland yard forging reports
Conspiracy woo.

no itisnt..it was quite a big story 2 years ago.it was found that met police and Scotland yard been fiddling with crime statistics in order to hide real crime figure and show immigrants(including polish as myself) in better light.manipulations were widespread.

so my point is,i dont trust official figures from "politically correct" goverments. they are all fiddled

telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/10558567/Scotland-Yard-chief-admits-claims-of-crime-figure-manipulation-conta in-some-truth.html
am not saying its all great in Poland, but UK has some institutional pathology going on rooted in political correctness and "creating reality" when facts are becoming unconvenient.

News / Poland leads in child well-being -- UNICEF [75]

Exactly! Very well publicised, on the news every night for ages, highly reported, prosecutions, firings, disbarring from public office and jailings - and a government Public Enquiry

huh? after like years of hiding and allowing abuses cus they didnt want to offend Muslims.and after report was made, they tried to manipulate it and destroy evidence.

You've proved my point that issues

no..
child abuse in the UK is not only underreported, but even reported cases are being hidden from the public eyes and evidence destroyed by the authorities.for political reasons.

see case of scotland yard forging reports about crimes committed by minorities ect.
children abuses cases are not only underreported but also hidden from public in the UK

News / Poland leads in child well-being -- UNICEF [75]

report you mention and as a result of very hard work by the police, social services and the CPS, the number of reports of crimes against children

yea..one just need to read rotherham case to learn about this "hard work by the police, social services and the CPS"
and now, those services are going under massive fund cuts by the conservatives.so imagine how things are now
such pathology and outraight criminal behaviour by authorities is unimaginable in Poland

Plus all the unreported violence, all the dark things that go on and are never seen outside the home. Hey, Greggs, if you don't think these things happen on a large scale in Poland,

i dunno..i only speak from my experience.i was born in small quiet and rich town in Poland, and it was extremely safe and top notch health service.2 hours wait for GP visit.

in London, once i had to wait 3 weeks for GP appointment
and i worked 2 years in charity with homeless and pathological people.so i guess am biased negatively towards UK in terms of health and safety cus of my personal experience which doesnt necessarily converts into average British life quality .

i mean, when you work and are surrounded with poorest people, one might subconsciously become biased.i guess if i worked as bank manager and lived in Chelsea i would tend to think different about British health system.

beside..crime against minors is MASSIVELY underreported in the UK.read children's commissioner sue berelowitz report.over 100k children rapes in the UK each year.only 5% are reported

nd of course more thorough reporting and recording procedures, picking up on things that in Poland would be kept within a family, whether that family be decent people or not.

well..we were talking about health and safety of infant and their mortality rate.
i dont see,how would those issues be underreported and "kept whithin family" in Poland.
i can believe that thigs like bulgaries or theft can go underreported ,but mortality of infants?
unless, you think that polish infants are being buried in the woods without being registered on massive scale in Poland.silly

News / Poland leads in child well-being -- UNICEF [75]

hmm.yes.
but i checked, and its kinda shocked me- NHS budget(140 bilion pounds) is more than twice Of Polands entire national budget( 70 billion euro)
staggering money..
cant compare Polands health and safety to UK.and its actually poor performance by The UK considering amount of money spent. isnt?or Poland is effective somehow

ehh.UNICEF is corrupted s.it anyway

News / Poland leads in child well-being -- UNICEF [75]

However if you look at 'health and safety' you will see that Poland scored badly, much worse than the UK.

unicef.org/media/files/ChildPovertyReport.pdf

ahh.yes.. but i meant crime related safety."diamention 5" of this report.page 26
the one you talk about is regarding health and safety of infants and infants mortality, Infant survival and health ect. page 12 of this report
poland scored somewhat average here, and only 3 position lower than UK.now if you consider how much more money is spent in the UK on those health and social areas ,UK has poor results.i guess british NHS alone has budged like half of Polands national budget.

But yea, don't bothering linking to the report you're talking about

very interesting report.thanks for sharing.

Poland is the second best of the 25 OECD countries surveyed in terms of "behaviours and risks" (healthy lifestyle, lack of violence)

good to see.safety is more important for child well being than iphone.polish children safe is for obvious reasons, its because Poland in mono cultural, traditional family orientated country.. multiculti means drugs, violence and sexual crimes against local population..its well known fact.

UK, Ireland / A new mayor in London: opinion of Polish people in the UK? [317]

This is how the cops in Russia deals with migrants - lines up em with their hands over their head and marches em down the street - that's the way it shoudl be done!

nahh..the best one was recent action of their anti-terrorists.
so,they found explosives in mosque, decided it is to dangerous to transport them so they detonated them inside and blew them up together with building .lol

there is video somewhere on youtube.

Life / Poland is safe to visit - "Daily Mail" [100]

English woman sprayed a Polish man's face and he suffered the same injuries would a "Oooh, I didn't mean it to hurt so much, luv, not my fault, innit?" what consequences should she suffer?

dunno..depends on many things...was she provoked? did she intend to inflict grievous body harm.in britain thay are incredibly harsh on poles in courts.

i know personally one guy who was locked in prison for smashing glass cup against wall for 3 months..it was stated in courtroom this glass was worth 1.50 p

while one case where pole was killed by bunch of blacks in neasden..they got 12 months, but released after serving 7 months.
served only 4 months more for killing than this pole for braking glass cup...crazy justice

Life / Poland is safe to visit - "Daily Mail" [100]

The idea that she didn't mean the damage to be as bad as it was is not much of a defense. ?

you dont get it..i dont argue, she dint splash his face on purpouse and there is no doubt ,it was malicious.
the key here is wherever she was aware that would cause such horrific damage..which i doubt.
if i throw plastic spoon at you and you lose balance as a result, knock your head on pavement and get skull fractured.i cant be prosecuted for inflicting intentional grievous body harm can i? my intention was not to do such harm.

same here..i doubt, she realized that cleaning detergent can burn someones face to such degree.unless, shes has chemistry degree or she is some local serial detergent face splasher..am surprised myself.i used bleach without gloves and never had any burns..i know face has thinner layers of skin but still.

wonder if she could have any problems proving that she didt have intention to cause body harm..it was cleaning detergent, not "acid" as dailyfail claim.am myself surprised that so severe harm was caused by cleaning detergent in spray.

it must be said that his version sound illogical and if something doesn't make sense it is most likely not true.

yea..there are reports that those lads were drunk and were smashing this place,
its interesting to note what he said "i will never drink ever again"
why would he said that if he didnt do anything wrong ?
notheless.it was vicious attack, and this girl deserve prison sentence.

Life / Are there any Muslim areas in Poland? [173]

I write this post to find out any Muslims revert (male or female) form Poland, irrespective where ever they are living i.e. UK or Poland.

should they also be proficient in making bombs?too hard to blend brown ones in Poland? need converts?
why looking for converts in poland? war in yemen not going good and cubans stop coming?

Food / What's your favorite Polish beer? [870]

as i said..you dont understand polish language. and what is written there.on this advert
its written:
"drink beer from brewery zwierzyniec" -zwierzyniec is name of brewery not name of beer
pijcie piwo browaru zwierzyniec. ask what that means or go google or ask poles, they will tell you about your ignorance
but its possible they would use name of zwierzyniec in different periods,or even both version ..i dunno
i recall from my time that zwierzyniec brewery was making "zwierzynieckie" beer through all 70-80 ties commie time

Food / What's your favorite Polish beer? [870]

i have an impression that during commies time, alot of food and brands of all kind was locally made, and locally redistributed.unique to local area

nowdays, big companies bough local brands and sell it to wider clients increased production ,often attaching old known, local famous brand names..i heard "perla" destroyed zwierzyniec brewery, and moved to lublin..making fake "zwierzynieckie" beer

but stuff is not the same..its not local unique taste. same with sausages ect.
another great beer from that area was "krysztal" and lezajskie or lezajsk not sure which form is used
