Are Poles grateful to the Russians for winning the war?

Would like to know your opinions...
No they are not, because Russia was Germany's ally, and they attacked Poland together in accordance with the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact. Ever heard of Katyn-why would anybody be grateful for that?
Don't forget that Russia invaded Poland on the 17th September 1939. A historical fact that gets forgotten by many.
True usually Russians like to fight back with this argument:
Poland got Moscow now Russia gets Warsaw.
With the 17th its two bad things the Russians did
Now they owe us T50 Sukhoi Fighter Jets. (the best plane in the world even better than American raptor f22 or similar name).
Make that 20 of them by 2020. That would be sweet damn :)

Whats this about? I've heard about a precuremnet of trainer/fighters with the T-50 Golden Eagle being a possibility. But that is basically a f-16.

Thats a video of the Sukhoi t50 stealth fighter.
Its awesome too be honest. If Poland could get some Poland would say "STEP BACK" lol.

I mean you can send them a letter with a complaint about Polish history textbooks.
Gratitude is one of the most lacking traits here, I've discovered. I wouldn't count on it at all.

provide one link (not a Russian one either) stating that that the Soviet jet is better. Are you one of those Poles who are still in love with their Soviet friends?
(Zeby nie bylo niedomowien, jestem Polakiem ale nienawidze kazdego Polskiego idiote ktory nadal wierzy ze wszystko co radzieckie to najlepsze. Polska jjest wolnym krajem i czas zebyscie otworzyli oczy i widzieli Sovietow takich jacy byli naprawde, skurwiele ktorzy wymordowali tysiace naszych rodakow. Jezeli tego nie widzicie to nie jestescie warci nazywac sie Polakami).
I understand why you dont like the Russians. I am not saying I like or love them at all. But these days you gotta be friends with everyone or ELSE. Poland has / had MIGS and F16 so in 10 years maybe they can get some Sukhois and Rapter22 :)
As for your link...
Provide a non American source that the Raptor22 is better :)

anything is better than whatever the lousy Soviet scumbags are making.
oh home on dude. they arent soviets. they are russians. they were the first in space afaik so they were better at America at some times. they also have more nukes and ICBMs.
no, they murdered my grandpa, grandma, 4 of my uncles, 7 little children that would be now my cousins and millions of other innocent people.

They weren't Russians, they were Soviets, how do you know it wasn't a Kazakh or Armenian or Chechen that killed your family?
Because the Red Army consisted in 88% of Russians and NKVD in 94% you troll:))))

Which period? Source?
What do you mean to convey by saying that? Of the Red Army, how many were Poles, do you know?
Gratitude is one of the most lacking traits here, I've discovered.
Very true.
Which period? Source?
1941-45 Wiktor Suworow for one.
Of the Red Army, how many were Poles, do you know?
About 200.000
Poles should be grateful to Uncle Joe for annexing and never returning one-half of pre-war Poland which already was a truncated entity compared to pre-partition Poland.
Seriously though, Poles would have been better off if the krauts and rooskies had annihilated each other with Uncle sam finally moving in to mop up what was left. That's what General Patton wanted to do but was stopped by the White House.

Without the huge (human) sacrifice of the USSR and without the massive financial support of the USA for the Soviets and Britain, Poland wouldn't exist today. Showing some appreciation would therefore be quite okay...

wishful thinking, yankee.
btw, tho manage what was left is some sort of standard us military strategy, ha? ;)

poor general. no balls to do it alone. :)
Without the huge (human) sacrifice of the USSR
how about my sacrifice, losing 13 members of my family murdered by the Soviets? Do you seriously believe, I have a reason to be grateful?

Go on then, pop down to the local Polish Club in Ashfield and tell them this Otter. It makes me shudder to think that you are an Aussie with Polish parents yet you come up with comments like this. Go away and stop trolling with inflammatory comments.
you come up with comments like this
Don't be silly, mate. I'm aware of the fact that the Soviets were killers, but that doesn't change what I've said. Without the USA and USSR, Germany most likely would've won the war. With dire consequences for Poland (and the rest of Europe), as we all can imagine. So what is preferable? 40 years of occupation by the Soviets and being a free country nowadays, or annihilation? Life or death?

Non sequitur mate. Go on then, pop down to the Ashfield Polish Club and propose thanks to the Soviets
That's your opinion; fine with me.
Ashfield, Sydney? No thanks, too many bogans. ;)

Sorry, not an opinion, a fact.
Ashfield, Sydney? No thanks. ;)
Why not? You're brave enough, with your comments, to insult the memory of our ancestors who perished under the Soviets, and disrespect the members of this forum who were effected by same, behind the safety and anonymity of a computer screen, so why not go there and tell them how you feel at the Club.
Ozi Dan: ...insult the memory of our ancestors who perished under the Soviets
In what century do you live? Not in the 21st, that's for sure.
In what century do you live?
The 17th. Why?
It doesn't change the fact that you got owned in trying to deliberately inflame this thread by suggesting we give thanks to the Soviets. Come correct next time. It's not cool to despise your heritage - embrace it - it's a good one.
Ozi Dan: The 17th.
Nope, you live in the 1930's, and you are trapped there... :)
...to despise your heritage
Unlike certain other folks, I don't have to be ultra-nationalistic to embrace my heritage.
