Vilnius Region must be returned to Poland! Right away!

These days more people in Poland speak about historical injustice, particularly about the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact by which USSR deprived our country from eastern territories. That became so humiliating and enemies of Poland still hold these territories, especially Vilnius Region. I understand that wild countries like Belarus and Ukraine could hold something they got illegally like they always did this, but I reject to understand why Lithuania, a part of civilized Europe use such dirty methods not suitable for a member of European Union.

After many decades of holding true Polish territories it's time for Lithuania to give Poland a goodwill gesture and give back all territories they perfidiously hold all that time to start with Vilnius Region. Of course if Lithuania is a true European and civilized state... How do you think?

Lithuania has nothing to return: Poland agreed under the treaty of Suwalki that Vilnius was part of Lithuania.

BTW, if you are going to troll here about this particular city, you could at least make the tiny effort of researching the only name that any Pole who really thinks that the city is Polish would use. Let me help you out: that name is not Vilnius.

No, they don't.
People are far more concerned about paying their mortgage or who won a football match than some mickey mouse treaty that was signed nearly 100 years ago.

Wouldn't Poland prefer to have Lviv, (or Lwow), back anyway, that place is way nicer than Vilnius?

Ok great. let's exchange it for Wrocław which then can return to Germany.

No chance: there are some cracking beers from that area.

How about we give Stettin back to Germany (it's a toilet of a city), in exchange for which they give Konigsberg to Russia, Russia can then give some crappy bits of Russia on the eastern border of Ukraine to Ukraine and Ukraine can give Lviv to Poland? Now that's a decent swap.

Yeah... better get your dirty hands off Wroclaw you crazy bastards... People of Wroclaw would rather make alliance with Lithuanians and split Masovia than giving anything back to anyone...

Anyway it is hilarious when people who posses some home somewhere, or even nothing more than a mortgage are talking about taking back "our land" from someone... Like feudal magnates :) I guess this thread is nothing more than medium level trolling born from boredom.

It's even better when the people calling for 'our land to be returned' are doing so from the basement of their parents' home, which was itself built on land stolen from the indigenous people!

Wtf is everyone talking about in this thread, Wilno and Lwów are Polish cities (big ones) so yea it's a huge deal and it's not like this was hundreds of years ago, there's people alive today that can attest to the fact that not long ago walking up and down the main streets of these cities was no different then walking up and down the streets of Warszawa, just because Stalin forced 1.5 million poles to move to Siberia doesn't make these cities magically Lithuanian or Ukrainian...

First thing you should know is that western Europe (ie EU) isn`t that civilized. And why are you surprised with Lithuania? Look at Croatia. Its actually Greater Croatia with Nazi regime, while EU arranged Serbs to be blamed. Same thing in Bosnia where now rule sharia law, Nazi-Islam ideology and where EU even took part in populating Arab mujaheedines there. Or look Albania and Kosovo (province in Serbia illegally seceded) where also rule Nazi-Islam plus narco mafia.

wild countries like Belarus and Ukraine could hold something they got illegally

Belarus isn`t wild. They finally got their independence. I am sure, quality negotiations between Poland and Belarus could be in place, for all open questions. With Ukraine is different because EU there installed Nazis. But, things would one day improve when bandersits are past and then, negotiate.

Who is "they" in "they give Konigsberg to Russia" since Konigsberg (Kaliningrad now) has already been in Russia's hands since 1945?
