Why WERE Those Death Camps Built in Poland, Then?

I'm throwing down the gauntlet. I will send the next person whom provides a counter-point or corroborating evidence heretofore unvoiced in this debate a sterling plaque, engraved with their deed and the date, and all the participant must do is provide said viewpoint/information without denigrating my "education", or "working intelligence" on the matter. I think Poland was and IS anti-semitic. That's MY stance. I don't THINK you're going to dissuade me, and I've little illusions of changing YOUR minds, either. I will, however, have to look at myself, once I'm done preening at this screen, I'd like to see a fellow in that mirror whom didn't resort to churlish dismissals of his debate fellows. I feel confident I can do so, thus far into it, vis-a-vis my responses and you, et al. I want the best for everyone, and so I implore you to try and do the same. I DO have an "idea", my dear. I simply find it lacking. Please keep a modicum of dignity for yourself, after divesting some on me.

Any stupider than the Polish Home Army thinking the Reds "had their backs" during the Battle of Warsaw?

No that was more stupid thing to do, but that doesn't change anything. Still what i wrote stays true. Poles hated Germans a lot more than any Jews.

Because it doesn't take a genius to know when the jig is up.

What part of "young, able-bodied, trained to use arms" do you not understand? These young people were such ardent Zionists that they knowingly and willingly abandoned those who needed them most, at precisely the moment they were needed the most (i.e. not in the twenties, but right before the outbreak of WW2). They could have helped the Poles fight Germans, but didn't think it necessary.

Therefore, my second question does not belie the first.

Also, I want hard evidence for the Polish government "forcing Jews from their homes" in the twenties, or the thirties, for that matter. Can you give it? I think not.

Hatred knows no limits. They were more than willing before AND after the war to toss kosher bait at hungry dogs.

He knows what he was taught :(

Sir, with all due respect, you are a 55 year old tourist in a country that intrigues you with all the gusto as the Times Sunday crossword intrigues a pseudo-intellectual sitting on his toilet. There is no need to condescend to me, and if my good humor remains, I shall find this warning sufficient enough a rebuke. Don't devalue me, or question the retaliatory solvency of an intellect questioned beyond what's justifiable. Let's stay positive, and discuss as Lincoln and Douglas might have, and not like Andy Griffith and Don Knotts, shall we? See, I used a cultural referenced post-dated to your age's comfort zone. I'm accommodating.

by the way those camps weren't build inclusively in Poland. the most notorious one, Auschwitz was build on the land incorporated into third Reich.

Also there were camps in Poland exclusively for Poles, you know probably nothing about.
Also not only Jews were killed in other camps.
You seems to be awfully ignorant of the facts!

As for Poles anti-Semites ? That works both ways - Jews are anti-Polish!
Either both are the truth or both are false! As the evidence suggest !

The krauts didn't consult a magic 8 ball, or throw darts at a map.

Funny. First you write hopeless crap, then suggest rational discussion. :):):):):):)

Someone advised you to get down to reading books. Have you ever read one about WW2 in this part if Europe? I doubt it.

Hatred knows no limits.

And makes you stupid. At least in your case.

You don't seem to able to understand that there was no Polish Gov. at that time and ppl who did bad thing not only to Jews, but to other Poles as well are long time dead.

Well you can have also some reason for talking bullshit like that. I don't which, but i guess money.

There is old polish saying: "if you don't know what it is about it's about money". Maybe i translated it wrongly, but you should get what im talking about.

Pawian. I like you. I see as somewhat of a clown, a buffoon to deflate tensions and one whom churns righteous indignation into palatable comic relief. But as far as empirical facts go, as far as presenting yourself the objective materialistic determinist is concerned... well, my friend... I suggest you stick with clowning. I have read, I have listened. I have watched 38 mm film flicker against a bone white screen. I have seen images of liberation, of hope resolved, and triumph squashed, all within the same face of one soldier, or survivor, or kommandant. I am not uneducated, and I'm not prone to polemics, like a succubus to lusty blood. I am my own man. I have weighed the accounts of many, but there can be only one arbiter at the end. And that is me. Without judgement, there is only chaos. Without blame, there is no standard of decency. I'm pointing fingers, oh yes, most definitely. But my fingers are drawn to the guilty like a downsing rod to water.

Just tell me one thing. How exactly did Poland, non-existent at that time, offer to sacrifice Jews? Who did that and when? Who was consulted in that matter and made the decision to, as you say, "throw out the payload"?

A simple answer, please.

Umm because Poland had the largest Jewish population in pre war Europe. It was also in Central Europe (convenient location) and when Adolf was done with the Jews the Slavs were next.

My wife's grandfather was in Auschwitz. The fact was that the allies knew about the extermination policy and Polands government was in LONDON, as was its army (the army from the east was in Africa). How on earth do you think Poland, which effectively didn't exist, was supposed to do anything. Six million Poles dies in the war, don't you think maybe 'Poland' tried to stop that??

You really should read up about what happened in Poland. And take into account, that in Eastern Poland, where most of the Jews were, almost the entire population of Poles were deported to 'Siberia' before the Germans invaded Russia. Long before the Germans started the final solution, the Poles were dying in communist concentration camps.

I beseech those seeking further clarifications, (which I am overjoyed at the prospect of providing) to find my last missive which has been rather hastily thrown in the bin-heap. I hope to join you all again tomorrow, for more spirited denials of anti-semitism on your end, and more indignant defenses of my motives and brain activity on mine. Until then, I bid you adieu.

It's a wonder I need to argue my point at a

what point ? That you like to be judgmental and point fingers? Well have your fun. Do you have to do it here ?
All can notice that your post was provocative one after the other and you have never responded to my reasonable post( I could restrain myself - I deserve a medal) only when you could use one of my remarks to fit your preconception and prejudice.

Your all post are practically texts book of racism and hate !
Racists and haters have no place in here.
a ban would be in order !
