What British unit liberated Poland in 1945??

Bratwurst Boy

Bratwurtski, piłeś - nie jedź, nie piłeś - napij się. I asked about British part in Poland's independence after WW1.

And BTW

The Polish treaty was signed on 28 June 1919,

So why they are celebrating November 11, 1918 than?

Poland had basically just one option, alliance with the devil(Stalin) in a strategic axis including CR and Yugoslavia.Stalin at the moment would be satisfied with some mere military bases on polish ground and maybe some soviet propaganda freedom.

However polish government rejected Molotov's propositions as it did with german ones(after consulting London).

Actually it's the Londoner sport - they like to stab Poles in the back.

No, they like to stab you in the back: that's because you are such an exceptionally unpleasant person.

I would ask you to go into details about how Britain ever stabbed Poland in the back but we both know that you can't go into details and so will instead just insult me.

No, it's war.

War makes everything OK? Perhaps that explains why you think it's OK that the British have managed to find, charge and convict more Poles who took an active part in the holocaust than Poland has.

As soon as Poland makes money, Jews are moving back in.

You would say that: you're a bigot (being anti-semitic makes you a bigot dear). A more reasoned explanation might be that as soon as Jews were allowed to move back to Poland (remember that most of them were tossed out in 1968 - 1970) they did.

Jedwabne was under Nazi occupation, so sod off. It was the GG at the moment. There were Nazi officers and troops there.

Jedwabne was under occupation and there might have Nazis there but the simple fact remains that Poles did all the killing.

But only 39 Jews and 2 Poles were killed - why not all of them?

Oh, it was so nice of you to only kill 39 of them. Such self-restraint makes the entire event perfectly acceptable.

POLAND IS NOT DEFENDING HERSELF AGAINST JEWISH SLANDER, POLAND IS NOT TALKING BACK

Clearly you are, sweetie.

The cap on Jews was formed so that peasants could get into the university, too.

There were plenty of peasants out in the shtetls, which kind of blows away your ultra-pathetic defensive of part of your nation's institutionalised racism.

Many more heroes in Poland have been murdered. Some by the Jews in the UB.

A pure gem to finish with! So your best defence for a Jewish hero being murdered by Poles is that Poles would later be murdered by Jews. That really does sum up your intelligence level.

Hitler describes Poles as romantic and vain who will reject potential alliances and fight,an easy prey for his intentions.

He also knew that Czechs would surrender to him with no resistance since he had observed Czechs carefully during his life in Austrohungary. He also more or less grasped the english thinking and anticipated the French would not move.

The only confusing and unpredictable factor in this regard was Stalin and Stalin's intentions was what Hitler largely feared not excluding a sudden attack from SU to his eastern border.Molotov-Ribbentrop treaty froze the West and spread terror since it meant that the West had to fight for its survival.

Of all the nonsense and BS you came here with that must be the biggest. Care to provide a link?

Now name a Pole who was convicted by a Polish court of having taken part in the holocaust.

Even the Yanks have managed to find a Pole to convict for such crime but Poland can't find any. But you've got plenty of time to chase Jews who killed other Poles after the holocaust!

That guy who took part in Jedwabne killing got 10 years sentence. Even though he was a forced labour in Germany earlier.

Even the Yanks have managed to find a Pole to convict for such crime but Poland can't find any.

Tell ya' what... why don't you wait out in the car?

Jedwabne was not part of the holocaust.

And AK killed during the war a lot.

But you just can't actually name them. What a surprise.

Harry:

Why don't you read about Bronislaw Hajda? Another Pole who took an active part in the holocaust, this one was convicted by a US court.

Jedwabne was not part of the holocaust.

Sure, it was part of Disneyland.

But you just can't actually name them. What a surprise.

You asked for ONE name, I gave you that. Why you are surprised when people give you what you asked for again?

You are lying when saying that Poland can't find any to convict for Holocaust crimes. That simple.

Lonek Skosowski, and he got the death penalty. :)

My understanding is that he was killed by Żydowski Związek Wojskowy, the Jewish Military Union. And he much deserved what he got.

Who knows why! The Polish People's Republic was actually created five days earlier (in Poland's most under-rated city).

Sth to do with Freikorps?

They are celebrating the Freikorps? Now that is double nice! ;)

No you did not give me a name. And you certainly did not give me the name of a Pole who was convicted of taking part in the holocaust.

You are lying when saying that Poland can't find any to convict for Holocaust crimes. That simple.

Kindly either name those Poles who were convicted by a Polish court of taking part in the holocaust or stop lying. It's entirely up to you which you do but I very much suspect that I'll be waiting as long for names as I have been for proof to support your foul lie that Britain shipped the Polish troops who were left in Britain in 1946 to Canada where they were forced to work as slave labour.

your foul lie that Britain shipped the Polish troops who were left in Britain in 1946 to Canada where they were forced to work as slave labour.

Sorry to quote myself but I need to make it clear that Bzibzioh actually said "most of Polish ex-soldiers (lower ranks) were send to Canada where they had to work basically as slaves on farms for two years before they were granted full residency in Canada." Read that lie here.

Maybe at November 11th Harry entered Poland.

No, but I did move to Warsaw on that date.

Yes, Silesian Uprisings, Posnan uprising - they all never happened and really mean that Polish subhumans were always controlled by nice and clean Germans, since 1200 years. Grow the fcuk up.

You are a prize idiot. Just read what i write and don't put your own words in there. I am trying to defend my country against YOUR stupid attack that my country betrayed Poland. I like Poland, I spend all my free time in Poland so I am not attacking your country.

I am stating facts not my opinion of Polish people. Your view that we directed the Nazi's and Soviets to attack Poland instead of France in 1939 is wrong. They wanted your country destroyed, was it Britain who ordered the Katyn Massacre? You would have been attacked whatever Britain had tried.

The Battle of Britain - "Never have so many owed so much to so few" if it was not for Polish and Czech and the rest of the foreign pilots it would have been lost because we had such a little Air Force. The RAF was broken after the Battle of Britain and was vunerable to attack. Hitler attacked the Soviets instead. Why?

All I have ever said is blame the Soviets and Nazi's for what happened to Poland in WW2 not Britain. Everything else you think i have said you have made up.

I respect Poland and the Polish for coming through the last 400 years and still having their culture intact. I don't respect you and the others who have your blinkered and small minded view of History. Look at the big picture of History not tiny little bits because you get a distorted view.

No, I actually WANT to
make it pure. Idiot.

You make it pure by attacking Britain with wild claims. OK, that makes so much sense.

You can replace France with Ireland if it makes this point easier for you.

I don't read only English versions of History the same as i would not trust a French version of French History. You must read a few sources to discuss History.

No you did not give me a name.

I did. You are such an expert on Holocaust so you should know those names by heart.

Kindly either name those Poles who were convicted by a Polish court of taking part in the holocaust or stop lying.

And my reward would be ...?

Silly man.

Bzibzioh actually said "most of Polish ex-soldiers (lower ranks) were send to Canada where they had to work basically as slaves on farms for two years before they were granted full residency in Canada."

well, they did. Whether you like it or not. And I'm deeply touched that you remember.

I respect Poland and the Polish for coming through the last 400 years and still having their culture intact.

Jezz, another Polish history "expert" ... Like that earlier claim that "Britain helped Poland regain its country from Germany and Russia after WW1 with the Treaty of Versailles"

I did. You are such an expert on Holocaust so you should know those names by heart.

You have not provided any name at all. Let alone the name of a Pole convicted by a Polish court of taking part in the holocaust.

And my reward would be ...?

There's no need to discuss your reward for not lying: you are completely unable to stop yourself from lying.

Harry:
Bzibzioh actually said "most of Polish ex-soldiers (lower ranks) were send to Canada where they had to work basically as slaves on farms for two years before they were granted full residency in Canada."

As I was saying: you are simply a compulsive liar. You have provided no sources or evidence at all to support your baseless accusation. I provided ample evidence to show that your lie is just another of the slurs which pseudo-Poles love to hurl at Britain. You are utterly pathetic.

No, they are not. Some stayed in Britain. That's just Harry changing the topic of the thread and taking things out of context, as usual. Don't get too excited.

You are utterly pathetic.

Coming from you is a badge of honor :) It means I'm doing something right.

There's no need to discuss your reward for not lying: you are completely unable to stop yourself from lying.

Nice try ... but I still don't give a flying copulation what's your opinion of me :)

Ok, I had fun, boys. Now I'm going to earn some money. A lots of them. Bye :)

Yes, I'm an expert. Funny. That is why i said 400 years and not exact dates. You came through the 3 partitions, WW2 and Communism in the last 400 years. You still have your culture. Where is British culture now?

if what you claim is true then yes is very good of such jew haters not to wipe all Jews out 1

Jedwabne was under occupation and there might have Nazis there but the simple fact remains that Poles did all the killing.

the simple fact remains that Poles didn't do the killing and you are living in Poland for many years and I think that you shouldn't jump on every opportunity to talk bad about Poles.

Now name a Pole who was convicted by a Polish court of having taken part in the holocaust

and is that some kind of test? worry about holocust or you are bad? well, I don't share your values.

Your own institute of national remembrance says that Poles did all the killing at Jedwabne. Pity that you personally can't face up to what your countrymen did.

Oh yes, your famous ancestors. Quite amazing how you can always pull out a relevant one as and when needed. In this post you claim "the Polish command in the UK have not given help to the partisans." But then in this post you not only know about the help given but claim that your grandmother and her sister had hosted some of those men in her house! Would this be the same grandmother which you aren't sure was Jewish or not?

My understanding is that he was killed by Żydowski Związek Wojskowy, the Jewish Military Union. And he much deserved what he got.

AK and ZZW units toghether attemped to liquidate him and other collaborants in August 1943 on Długa Street. He was wounded and lived, the others killed. Later, in November 1943, he was killed by a 14 men AK unit(including boy scouts).

As you know, this was tongue-in-cheeck, since he was a Polish Jew, but a death sentence was passed and executed for his active participation in the Holocaust.

One day, I'll compile the scatered info on the Hotel Polski Affair and post it. A fascinating and extremely sad story of Jews flushed out of hiding in Warsaw. Polish and Jewish Gestapo collaborants getting Poles and Jews killed and in turn Polish and Jewish underground units hunting them down.

Your own institute of national remembrance says that Poles did all the killing at Jedwabne. Pity that you personally can't face up to what your countrymen did.

One day IPN are clowns on a witch hunt, today they are not.
