Is there a historical Polish business/company registry? (Szczekociny - early 1900's or late 1800's)

How can I find out when a company in Poland was established or incorporated? Is there a historical registry?

I'm trying to recreate a sign from a business in Szczekociny from the early part of 1900, possibly late 1800's. I'm having difficulty finding any information on the business. Also, if anybody knows of a good place to find historical photos from the area, I'd love to find an actual picture to replicate. Thanks a million!

Maybe not much help but the Szczekociny Municipality website has some historic draft of the town and a few photos:

In the XIX century Szczekociny belong to clans of £ubieÅ„ski, Czacki, Halpert. In the city dominates small trade, weaving, shoemaking. A small cloth factory and distilleries established here Like a number of small towns of Congress Poland, Szczekociny lost its town charter in 1870 to reclaim it again in 1923.

At that time, a serious economic strength begins to form the Jewish population in the town which was increasingly eager to settle down in Szczekociny, finding here a favorable climate and good neighborliness. The interwar period confirms the status of the city as a local administrative and economic center.

(sorry for the clumsy translation)
