Polish hatred towards Jews...

Ditto your posts regarding the US, kaprys. What are YOUR credentials, where is YOUR knowledge?

(That'll keep 'er guessin')

This is Polish Forums.

There is no expectation that Poles would have any need for credentials or knowledge about matters regarding the US.

But you should be grateful for the Polish perspective when it is given on here.

I'm always grateful to learn something which I don't already know. Wish I could say the same for the rest of us.

On the other hand, my knowledge of Poland was being called into question and I merely wished to show the poster that knowledge cuts both ways!!

What about my knowledge of the US? How often do I post about the US? The last time was about African and Native Americans and what I wrote was true. As a matter of fact, I read a lot about them in the past and I bet you'd be surprised how much I know. And it was you who had started the topic.

I also wrote about Roosevelt who refused to aid Poland after The Siege had been shown in America. And about how Americans reacted to Karski's report.

What else? And what didn't I get right?
As for your historical 'facts', well, let's start with your latest mistake concerning Bulgaria and WW2. Or when you wrote that Warsaw hadn't considerably suffered compared to some German cities.

As for your contribution to the forum, you don't know much if anything at all about the economy or everyday life here. You allegedly spent here several hours some twenty years ago. Yet you post here every day. Mainly about antisemitism (or 'if you want to go to Poland, learn some basic Polish' or 'terrible Polish accent').

You allegedly know Poles in the US. You're friends with a Janusz and his wife. Or whatever his name is. Are they antisemitic? Do you accuse them of antisemitism every time you meet?

I probably know as much about Polish history as the average Pole learns about US history in high school. Fact is, I was interested. What's your excuse?

If I don't question your credentials, kindly don't question mine:-)

You'll accuse Jews of killing Jesus

Romans put the spear into Jesus' side and nails into Jesus' hands - the spear was the final blow. The high priests of the Temple and their congregation were the ones who brought the charges against Jesus and the crowd chose to release Barabbas over Jesus - at least according to the historical record of the Bible which may or may not be totally historically accurate.

You two are quite similar so you should enjoy it.

I wouldn't say that we're similar, but I have no problems with Lyzko. In fact, I like that guy because he's one of the few more objective people and is willing to listen to two sides of a story and admit when he's wrong or misspoke. That's a rare thing on PF.

@Lyzko
What's my excuse for being interested in history? Wtf?
What facts about the American history did I get wrong?

I'm actually also interested in history of Polish Jews. What a pity there are no Jews here who could tell about Jewish customs and traditions.

I'm actually also interested in history of Polish Jews.

So go to POLIN, after they finally managed to get past all the attempts to stop it from being built.

You don't find everything there.
Sometimes a stroll around the old part of towns gives you strong experience - the sukkahs, the traces of where mezuzahs used to be. Both rocks and candles on Jewish graves in November. Quite a few organisations commemorating Polish Jews - quite often run by gentiles.

What's the best museum to visit that commemorates British colonies; )
There's this statue of a British soldier attacked by a tiger at Victoria and Albert Museum, though ;)

You don't find everything there.

No, but at least you don't also find tombstones being used as paving or as parts of walls, which cannot be said for quite a few other places in Poland.

@Taxpaying voter
I think it's real disgrace actually. Regardless of religion as not only Jewish tombstones were treated like this. But I can't take responsibility for those who allowed that. At the same time, you've got Polish students or scouts who tidy Jewish cementaries.

My brave, wise and honorable Polish sisters and brothers, listen to me, give chance to me to show something to you. Something important that must be repeated many times, so that you become aware of significance of this >>>

Israely PM openly about Slavic antiquity - PM Netanyahu's meeting with Serbian PM Aleksandar Vučić, Dec 1, 2014, Israel

Spot video from 0:12 >
*Israely PM Netanyahu: ``Friendship between Israely and Serbian (ie Slavic; ie- he point on documents about Sarmatian-Jewis contacts during classical antiquity), people originate from time of Roman Republic*

*Never did any Israely or Jewish official ever said something similar to any European politician*

youtu.be/PhxmLuXYNG4

NOTE: Video goes because of enormous importance for Polish historiography

My deeply respected Polish brothers. Be vigilant, yes, but have this in mind. Officially, era of stealing of Slavic (ie Sarmatian) history is ended. Jews, after Chinese and Indians are among those first who officially refused to take part in degradation of our historical contribution to human kind. So, our honor require to respond to Jews with offered hand, for they needed certain degree of bravery to extend their hand to us.

This is Polish Forums.

Yes. And Serbians, being 300% Polish, are special guests.

Interesting Lyzko. I am still yet to hear your opinion on Poland having to compensate Jewish people for the holocaust [in the other thread I asked you the question]. Do you think they should? Feel free to answer in the other thread.

Another jewish deception uncovered:

Fragments of a fraud

"Christopher Hope called it "achingly beautiful"; the New York Times said it was written "with a poet's vision; a child's state of grace"; Anne Karpf in this paper described it as "one of the great works about the Holocaust"; all were agreed it was a masterpiece. There is just one problem - Binjamin Wilkomirski's memoir of surviving as a Jewish child alone in the Nazi concentration camps of Majdanek and Auschwitz was a fabrication, invented from beginning to end, one of the great hoaxes in publishing history."

I see that there are 28 threads about Jews on the P.F.
I swear if I were a alien and came to earth on a spaceship that Poland was at least 90% Jewish after reading these threads.
(Aren't they about only 10% of Poland's population, I don't know.)
Like the Blacks in America who are about 13% you would think they are 80% of the population of America after reading and watching the news media's today.

Why all the howling by such small minorities who are given all kinds of special treatment and attention in predominantly White Christian Countries who cater to them ?

If anyone is being discriminated against it would be us poor white Christians in this day and age.

10%? Hah. More like 0.02% or if you count those who say they have some family ties to Jews, then it rises to about 0.25%.

The highest percentages of Jewish people is in the USA and Israel, that shouldn't be a surprise to most people.

@kaprys, thus far, you've gotten no facts on US history wrong, as I haven't re: recent Polish history:-) Bieganski's quite correct, that this is concerned with Polish, not with American history, therefore, I'm confining my comments to Poland:-) If you're interested in Jewish traditions, more power to you. I find much Catholic teaching actually enlightening, the concepts of Epiphany and redemption, for example. Then again, the Protestants deviated from Catholic teaching. However in the end, it all derives, at least in part, from Judaism.

@WielkiPolak, I feel that Poland, and Germany in particular, have been bled dry for so long, that it's enough already. You can lead someone to the sources, but you can't make them think!

Well, it was proven that the diary of Anna Frank is the most common falsification. First of all, her family banned issuing that diary because it was changed from the root. If I remember well, the original is in Tel Aviv, and is kept under the lock & key and is available only to a very narrow circle of people. One interesting thing to point out is that out of the diary were removed Anna's lesbian experiences... :)

There's more of that:

Anger, sadness over fabricated Holocaust story

On Saturday, Berkley Books canceled Rosenblat's memoir, "Angel at the Fence." Rosenblat acknowledged that he and his wife did not meet, as they had said for years, at a sub-camp of Buchenwald, where she allegedly sneaked him apples and bread. The book was supposed to come out in February.

Rosenblat's believers included not only his agent and his publisher, but Oprah Winfrey, film producers, journalists, family members and strangers who ignored, or didn't know about, the warnings from scholars that his story didn't make sense.

And they do not worry now about that they've been screwing the world, their only concern is that no one will believe in other stories. o_O

"I am very worried because many of us speak to thousands of student each year," says Sidney Finkel, a longtime friend of Rosenblat's and a fellow survivor. "We go before audiences. We tell them a story and now some people will question what I experienced."

There was one actually in Bristol, but it closed down a few years ago.

You're right there, there really should be a prominent museum about colonialism.

Kudos to you. Unlike TPV you had the balls not to ignore an uncomfortable thing about Britain. He just comes up with some new c**p all the time about Poland, yet ignores anything similar that is connected with Britain.

I guess opening a new part/department of an already existing museum might be a solution.
BTW, is there any place devoted to British Jews in the UK? And I'm asking out of curiosity, no mean intentions.

There's the Jewish Museum in London, founded in 1932 and still going strong. It combines a museum of Jewish life chronicling the history of the Jewish population of the East End which was a real Jewish stronghold and was amalgamated with the Jewish Military Museum a few years ago. They have a pretty comprehensive collection.

jewishmuseum.org.uk/Collections

There's another Jewish Museum in Manchester where there was a sizeable Jewish population at one time. Not sure about nowadays.

So go to POLIN, after they finally managed to get past all the attempts to stop it from being built.

Yeah, build by the Polish taxpayer money, run on Polish taxpayer money, tell 'Jewish' side of the story disregard completely Polish narrative. What interesting board is almost completely overrun by Commies or Jewish origin or their family and close associates who for that occasion put on their yarmulkes rather than hats with red star on it and cash in on being 'Jewish'. Doing the same or almost the same what their parents and grandparents spiting on Polish history, heroes while still sporting their grandpa Nagnat-guns they used to murder Polish heroes on trump up charges while the red army overrun the place.

Rather then admit what they family did - they run this soviet narrative about 'fascists' who where anti-Semitic because they occasionally had been able to snipe one of those red commissar scum of Jewish origin running errands for uncle Stalin. .

find tombstones being used as paving

Oh, yes, typical commie progressive that cares more about some stones than people. Figures.

I think it's real disgrace actually.

Well, in an ideal world. In the world after the WWII that was readily avoidable building material some destitute people grabbed to put roof over the hand oft their children and their families. Especially if those stones were gathered as a building material by Germans.

I'm not gonna judge them, not in general, only on individual basis.

There are history projects in Leeds, Manchester and Glasgow, mostly about recording the memories of the diaspora populations.

What's the best museum to visit that commemorates British colonies

There's one in Oxford - well worth a visit.

Why shouldn't it - it isn't there for that.

A plea for clemency from a 96 year old German convicted over his role in the murders of 300,000 people at the Auschwitz death camp in Nazi occupied Poland has been rejected today.

Oskar Groening, known as the "bookkeeper of Auschwitz", was sentenced to four years in prison in 2015 for being an accessory to murder at Auschwitz.
He has not yet started his sentence due to his health.
Groening's court battle was seen as one of the last major trials related to the Holocaust.
Groening admitted he was morally guilty for the work he carried out at Auschwitz even though he did not kill anyone.
