i must say that the level of hatred for Jews displayed on this website is a horrible way to show one's Polish identity. this website conveys the impression that Poles still hate Jews. there is an expression that if it looks like a duck, sounds like a duck and walks like a duck.... nonetheless, what is being done here is a disgrace to the Republic of Poland
- Show evidence of this alleged 'hatred,' slanderer. It's your hateful slamming of the Polish people here that is the proof of your own savage Polonophobia, racist hypocrite. Disgrace to the nation and culture that has bread you.
It looks that KONSKIEpelta is another anti-Polish scum, like those young Israelis leaving excrements in Polish hotels and their anti-Polish teachers, who told them to hate us.
Disgrace to the nation and culture that has bread you.
Puzzler hates everyone that has a bad word to say about his beloved Poland, he is so patriotic its sickening but guess what he doesnt even live in the country he so blindly defends, what a hypocrite.
We are right ! Just read what Polish jews write about their ansestros in commie regime. So they agree it wasnt ok ... It is web page of Polish Jews and they started to talk about contribute of their community in Polish histroy and it wasnt always positive (commies) so When Polish Jews agreed and started to talk and dont tell us it is antysemitism so there is only small step to show it on international arena, they like to talk about Jedwabne or pogroms ... so maybe we will show sth as well
link to web page (it is offcial web page of Polish Jews just read how do they do penance) :
fzp.jewish.org.pl/spot12.html
So what now. Polish jews penance and started to tallk about their contribution in commie regim. Maybe they started to talk because they feel safe in our country and ready for this discussion. But when Pole write on international forum that so many Jews were active commies and some of this Jewsih commies participated in pogroms ... it is antysemitism.
And Polish jews started to talk about Jewish commies who wanted to build "new Israel" in commie world ... without Poland on map ...

Web forums don't really give you an accurate representation of any population's opinions - the loonies tend to hijack any conversation that concerns their subject of obsession, but that's hardly representative of anything.
There are Poles who are anti-Semites just as there are French, German, American and probably Thai or New Guinean anti-Semites. There are also plenty of Jews who have prejudices against Poles, Blacks and Asians. No nation has a monopoly on ignorance and bigotry. That doesn't mean that the idiots and racists are representative of any of them.
dont put down yourself, read articles in American Jewish press about Poland and Polish people. They seam not to see their sins in history of our country. Succiesfuly members of Jewish society in Poland started to talk about it in open way (God bless them because it cant be conisdered as antysemitism) and read my link I posted in my previous post. I m sorry but telling things I tell or Jews in Poland tell ... on international arena is still antysemitism.

Poles still hate Jews?...When did this hatred start?...I don't know any Poles who hate Jews.
How can anybody hate someone on a web site?...hatred is something in a person's heart...I can only speak for myself in this regard, but I hate no one for their ethnic background, for the simple reason that one can't choose where one is born or to what parents...this is simply a forum for discussion & the expression of opinions...by open discussion, hopefully some truth will emerge, and we can all learn something about history, whether good or bad, so that we can avoid war in the future...do not confuse a
heated dialogue or debate with hate...and also, there is no man or woman without sin...
Hm, I am half Jewish (maternal side, guess that would make me Jewish according to Jewish laws - thank God I am not religious anyway:) ) and I have to say that it is rubbish to state that all Poles or the biggest part of the Polish ppl hate the Jews. My personal experience is that in all my life I met only one person who said to me that she didn't want to talk to me anymore as soon as I stated my mom was Jewish. She didn't even say she hated Jews, she just said that she did not want to talk to me anymore. This could be also due to the fact that she might not like me or something:) For the rest: I have never met any Pole that said or made clear that they hated me for what I am. On the contrary, they are very interested in the story of my maternal family, of which 75% got killed during the Holocaust. And besides that, I made my first fragile steps in starting to date a lovely Polish lady, so I definitively do not hate the Polish ppl. I just take person per person as I do with everybody. There are *ssholes among every ppl in this world, but luckily 99 per cent of the ppl in the world are good and nice; let's just ignore the bad apples in the basket. True, some Poles, Lithuanians and Ukranians were eager to help the Nazis to exterminate, but it wasn't the entire population, only a small percentage and besides, that was more than 60 years ago and you just can't blame ppl for what their grandparents did, can ye? If there is a place that I've been where you felt that anti-semitism is still a presence, I would say it is Russia and the former Russian states.
i must say that the level of hatred for Jews displayed on this website is a horrible way to show one's Polish identity.
That's right babe....Everybody hate Jews. I hate Jews, you hate Jews, even more Jews themselves hate Jews...And what? I am Russian, and Poles hate Russians, but Russians hate Poles in their turn.....What a problem? Or you just want to feel yourself some kind of exclusive?
Web forums don't really give you an accurate representation of any population's opinions
Forums do give accurate indications of opinion...how can one 'hijack' a forum?...I post on many forums and there is always a variety of opinion, even if on some forums certain opinions predominate...on the other hand, mainstream media gives 'approved' viewpoints, usually dictated by 1) owners/editors of the particular newspaper or TV network...2) governments...many Jewish 'opinion-makers' like to label any criticism of Israel/Judaism or related issues 'anti-semitic'...this is a misnomer as, for instance, Israelis
consider Arabs as a lower class, yet Arabs are true Semites...the point is, the media is extremely slanted toward the 'Jewish Worldview', when this view reflects only 1% or so of the world's population...so, whether you agree with postings on Internet forums, they are a reflection of an 'alternative' viewpoint to the 'mass media'...as far as 'hate' goes, a free exchange of ideas & feeling, even if the discussion becomes heated, is a first step toward resolving issues; you might argue with your wife, you may have a very heated exchange, but only by bringing issues into the light can we see things for what they are,
and possibly resolve them.
I just take person per person as I do with everybody.
Yes, God created us all as individuals, in His image...there is no collective guilt or condemnation.
Well, these kinds of things don't help Polish-Jewish relations at all:
The tomb of a venerated 18th century Hassidic leader, tzadik Elimelech in the south-eastern town of Leżajsk, fell victim to anti-semitic vandals on the night of Mach 4-5.
Well, these kinds of things don't help Polish-Jewish relations at all
No they don't...but you have fanatics and misguided people everywhere...you must look at the whole of history...I read a quote yesterday from a historian to this effect: 'Written history tends to record extreme/negative events, not taking into account the fact that in the vast span of history, people lived normal lives, working together and doing the multitude of things people do: work, have children, form communities etc.'...from what I read of Polish history, Jews did very well here; in fact, Poland alone among the nations never engaged in expulsion or persecution of Jews, either because of their tribal characteristics or their religion...it was only after the Bolsheviks (with a huge Jewish component) seized Russia, which then led to Bela Kun in Hungary, and also the Bolshevik attempt to seize Germany, that you had a growing 'anti-semitism' in Europe...
of course, the climax was the rise of the Nazis...the Poles were caught in the middle of these two forces.
I started another thread, that shows how Catholic Poles and Polish Jews were persecuted side by side. It mattered not to the Nazis; they would force the Priests and the Rabbis to carry excrement, defile churches by locking people in them for days, etc. If a German Pole refused to give up his being Polish, he was also murdered.
The majority of the time, the Nazis forbade the proper burial of the dead in the towns in the cemetaries, whether they be Jewish or Catholic. They did absolutely everything they could, to destroy the Poles, but it never worked.
THAT is what no one could ever understand; you could occupy her, you could attempt to destroy her; but Poland still lived on, in the hearts and wills of her people, whether in the country or without!
Poland has always been special throughout history, when she ruled over others, and was occupied. There has always, ALWAYS been a certain Dignity with the way the Polish people did, and still do things.
My Aunt once went on how she hated Jews, but when I pinned her down on it, she had twisted logic about how they caused our family to be murdered along with them.
Between two world wars, women were raped and murdered without any provocation or reason, and forced into prostitution!! The human mind will find a reason sometimes, no matter how fantastic. My great-cousin and aunt both blamed the Jews for our Roman Catholic family members being persecuted, murdered, and suffering a slow, lingering death for many in Auschwitz. They had no logic, only emotional feelings.
I can only recall the story of that Priest, who let the Nazis take away the ill, and did nothing; then took away the homosexual, and did nothing. Then, the Nazis took away the Gypsies, and did nothing. Then, the Jews, and he did nothing. When finally the Nazis came to take him away, there was no one left to stand up for him, just like he did nothing to stand up for the rest!
And that brings me to a little town, I can't recall where; but 26 Jews and Poles were set to be executed. The German Poles refused to let the Nazis kill them all, so settled for the deaths of 3, before moving on to the next village. They were lucky to all live, actually!
In first grade, my best friend was an Orthodox Jewish girl named Patty, who was adopted by older parents. When I was finally introduced to them, I for the first time in my life actually saw the number tattoos on their wrists! I had to ask Patty what they were later. I then knew what they were on my great-cousin, when she visited America.
I was never encouraged to be prejudiced, ergo, I never learned that trait; I'm glad.
I can only recall the story of that Priest, who let the Nazis take away the ill, and did nothing; then took away the homosexual, and did nothing.
That's actually not a story, but a remark from a German priest, not a Polish one, forgot his name, I believe it was Niemann or something like that. Anyway, it was a remark to illustrate the attitude of the Church during the Holocaust.
You know before you state things like this, learn the facts. Thousands of years ago, many Jews came to Poland due to the fact that the Polish were so tolerant towards them compared to the rest of Europe.
Poland and Polish were the ones to be killed by both Stalin and Hitler, Total numbers of Polish far surpassed the Jewish and yet how many times have you seen Polands other victims included in "Holocaust" or "Compensation". Why do they claim to be forgotten, when the truley forgotten is "Poland's non Jewish"?
Belgium in $170m Holocaust payout
Of the total restitution payout, $70m will come from the Belgian authorities, $85m from banks and most of the remainder from insurance companies.
Last year, Guy Verhofstadt, the country's prime minister, apologised for Belgian authorities' involvement in the deportation of Jews to the concentration camps.
I think perhaps people forget that 3 million of the Jews who were murdered in the Holocaust were Polish. Just as Polish as the 3 million Catholic Poles who were murdered.
ow man not more dreary negative talk, god i wish that some poles wouldn't act like manic depressants :( CHEER UP there is more to talk about than death and destruction!!!
Seems to me you are in each room to complain, LOL Also seems if you are looking for some cheering up you should look at the question to the links you come to?
What on this blessed earth!? Every time Celinski and I bring up the facts that 2 Polish Catholics to 1 Polish Jew were killed, we are called dreary, and negative!?
No, we are NOT negative; we are pointing out FACTS that are glossed over. And, by the way, the term 'manic depressive' falls under 'bipolar disorder' and I'm definitely not that.
I actually write cheerful, silly children's stories, as a matter of fact. Perhaps Lesser, you are the one over reacting, every single time WW2 and the Holocaust are brought up.
We simply wish ALL the victims are honored, not simply one third; ALL victims, which is 18 million, not 6 million.
