Trying to find someone need help

Hi,

I'm trying to find my polish boyfriends father. His parents separated young and she remarried and immigrated with him overseas. We know very little about him except his name and the area he used to live in. Any tips on finding him? I realise it's a long shot.

Yes indeed, very long shot, especially when we don't know the name and the area where he lived...
But if the name is not very popular, it's worth to find some people who have the same name and are living near the area. Search on a social sites (facebook and nk.pl), google, and try to contact them, with the question about your boyfriends father.

Knowing which country he emigrated too would be a good starting place. There are some very good online resources for tracking people down - however as with anything, the more information you have the better.
