In search of information regarding surname URYGA

Hello,

I am currently researching my family name, Uryga, and am hitting a wall when trying to find information in Poland.

I know from some records I have that my great dziadzia and his family were from Limanowa, and he was born there around 1884. I am currently looking for information in his parents, Jozef Uryga and Victoria Marie (or Mary) Waligora. I know they had four children, my Great dziadzia Jan, Jozef, Catarzyna (Catherine) and another daughter.

Does anyone have any advice for me on where I can find additional information?

It also appears that many of my relatives were married in St. Michael Archangel church in Sechna?

I should clarify that at one time, Limanowa was part of the Austrian province of Galicia, as my great Dziadzia's Ellis Island information indicates.

Why not try to contact people named Uryga who live in the Limanowa city? There are some names on some websites:
nk.pl (you need to register first there to see search results)
nk.pl/#szukaj/profile?q=uryga&city=limanowa&gender=&min_age=&max_age=&referer=sch_a
Facebook - search via Find Friends button, also even google search show a few Urygas in Limanowa.

URYGA: Probably derived from the Latin word auriga which meant charioteer. Since there weren't any Roman chariots in Old Poland, it probably became the occupational tag for a coachman or carter. The Tarta Mt area is definitely this surname's main stronghold.
