Rebizanty village - looking for info

Hi,
I am looking for information about the small village of Rebizanty in the administrative district of Municipality Susiec, Within Tomaszów Lubelski County, Lublin Voivodeship. Almost all links on the internet lead to information about the lovely stream and waterfalls near this village, but I have not found information about the village itself.

I'm looking for ancestors named Rebizant who listed their home as Huta Różaniecka, but I have not found them in the Huta Różaniecka church records. I was recently told about Rebizanty and I am curious to learn more about this village. If you have information or photos to share about this village, I would love to hear from you.

It was the place where Marshall Józef Piłsudski crossed the border between Russian occupation zone and Austrian one, when he was escaping from Russian captivity in 1901. And his guide was who? Mikołaj Rebizant.

PL: Na drugim brzegu Tanwi, na terenie prywatnej posesji, znajduje się głaz upamiętniający przekroczenie w tym miejscu w 1901 r. granicy zaborów przez J. Piłsudskiego. Można go obejrzeć po uzyskaniu zgody właściciela posesji - dojście od płd. strony rzeki. Przekroczenie granicy przez Piłsudskiego nastąpiło po jego ucieczce ze szpitala więziennego w Petersburgu. Pomocą służył włościanin Mikołaj Rebizant. Na tablicy przymocowanej do pomnika widnieje napis: "Tu w r. 1901 J. Piłsudski przekroczył granicę rosyjsko-austriacką stwierdzając, że niczem jest wraży kordon wobec potęgi ducha narodu polskiego". Głaz został ufundowany przez Państwowe Gimnazjum Męskie w Zamościu w 1936 r.

Shellie, I found the link to this thread in some old emails from 2012. I've taken over the family tree info that my cousin Carol Bodnarchuk had been building (sadly she passed away on Sep 12 2014). I just thought I'd let you know that I visited Huta Różaniecka in 2016 with my parents and son. My dad is a Bodnarchuk and my mom is related to Zaborniaks in that area. My dad met a first cousin (his aunt's son) still living at the family home his mom left in 1903.

Have you found any new info that would have been of interest to Carol?
