Looking for Chrabaszewski Relatives in Poland

My grandparents on both my father and mother's side emigrated to the USA in the first decade of the 1900's. My father's parents were named Teador Chrabaszewski

and his wife's maiden name was Zosia Phillipkowski. My mother's parents were
Stanley and Saleoma Michalak. I do not have the foggiest idea where they resided in Poland. Any valid information would be appreciated. Thanks. Ed

2. Please, consider alternative spellings.
3. Ship's Records (basic info) will show point of departure, but maybe not home town.

For Stanley. Try Stanislaw or Stanisław. There are thirty-eight passengers named Stanislaw Michalak. All but one have original residence. But I can't find Saleoma

CHRABASZEWSKI: The -ewski ending suggests a topo nick, hencn a way of indicating a native of Chrabaszewo. The root chrab- appears in the word chrabąszcz (a kind of beetle, maybug), the verb chrabęścić (to rustle or make a scratching sound in the underbrush) or possibly chrabry, a form of chrobry, and archaic word for brave as in the first King of Poland Boelsław Chrobry. Depending on which root actually gave that locality its name, we could translate it as either Beetleburg, Rustleton or Braveville. Take your pick!
