Hello my friends,

I am writing from Georgia. My mother's surname is: Narymund-Waszklevich. Her ancestor was a Polish army officer and during czar Russia era, he was deported to Georgia (have no idea when). This is all information we have for now. The question is: is there any chance I can find out more information about this story? Maybe some archives or publications, etc. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Your chances are rather slim IMO, since such documents will probably not be available online. Do you happen to know the place of birth of your mother's ancestor ?

Nope, that is a problem. I do not have much information. Only possible way is to find the list of people deported from Poland to Russia (particularly Georgia). That is what I am interested in for now.

@AlexanderM hello! I live in Russia, Krasnodar. My great-grandmother's surname is Narymund-Waszklevich too! We have been waiting our
ancestor and relatives. Our family's surname is very rare, so I think that we are relatives)))We knew that our ancestor Ivan Aleksandrovich moved in Ekaterinodar (this is old name of Krasnodar) in the 19th century from Tiflis.
