Are you sure there is a Lopatowski coat of arms/crest?
I have looked at many different websites and absolutely nothing comes up unfortunately.

Thank you so much for taking the time to research this. I also have been unable to find anything myself Thanks again
Lopatowski
There is nothing for Łopatowski as such but many similarly rooted surnames did have gentry in their ranks including Łopacki, Łopato, Łopatacki, Łopatecki. Łopatka, Łopatko and Łopatyński.

many similarly rooted surnames
The OP doesn't say if his ancestors emigrated, but it's entirely possible that any original surname may have been wrongly recorded at the country of destination, if they did indeed emigrate. Could possibly be one of your suggestions.
What I did find is that it is also a Hungarian surname.
also a Hungarian surname
Are you referring to Łopatowski?

Lopatowski.
I found quite a few old obituary records for Hungarians with that surname.
Forgot that the OP probably means Łopatowski, so no doubt I've caused confusion now!

Hungarians with that surname.
Surnames should not confused with ethnicity. There are 100% Poles with names liek Schultz, Bardini, Ferenc and Romanow, Germans named Nowak, Kaminski nd Lewandowski, Frenchmen named Pikuta, Mazurek, Orsini, Glauber and Jews with any of the above. The fact that some Hungarian is named Łopatowski (I doubt if he'd have a slash through the letter Ł) does not make it a Hunagrian name.

Lopatowski - what a fine name. One of our students had that name, I think he was from the Gorzow area.
Dark capital L I should have said.
