I just want to find my family that's all , I had one Aunt that the russians took to work camps , I heard she died where or when is a question . My Grandfather didn't want to leave and the Pols starved him to death, he never hurt a fly and got along well with the polish , so he didn;t want to leave his homeland . I have never met a family from West Preussen except for my grandmother , she came to West Germany onced . I just want to find the rest of my family . Can anyone help me where to write , I met a cousin on Facebook, but she won't write me back , Sad for me , the used to ask for things to be shipped to them , when the pols were still communist and didn't have nothing. My Mother went thru hell there , she came to the west to her brother . I don't want anything back ( that's war times , I just want to find my family and get to know them . There name is Kreklau and Kotlenga ( Sur Name ) from a town of Krainen near Tuchel . Can anyone help me.

Several Kotlengas from Tuchola on the other social network site (Polish)
nk.pl/#szukaj/profile?q=kotlenga&city=tuchola&gender=&min_age=&max_age=&referer=sch_a

and one person with the Kreklau name from the same city:
nk.pl/#szukaj/profile?q=kreklau&city=tuchola&gender=&min_age=&max_age=&referer=sch_a

Maybe you'll have better luck with them. If you wish we can help you with some translation into Polish.

KREKLAU: most likely from dialectal verb krekać (the sound a duck, crow, capercaillie, etc. gives off).

KOTLENGA/KOTLĘGA: from kociół (cookpot, boiler); possibly originatred to indicate the helper of a koltarz (pot-maker, coppersmith).
