Gliwa COA doesn't appear anywhere. Polish coat of arms and other info to verify the family clan.

Our Last name is Gliwa and yet I can't find any Polish coat of arms or anything to verify the family clan. Where should I look next?

If you want to contact some ancestors try to reach people with the Gliwa surname in/near the place of residence of your known relatives from Poland. Use Facebook page and the nk.pl ('equivalent' of FB in Poland).

However, considering the coat of arms - yes, I couldn't find any info about Gliwa COA. Maybe another PF user named Polonius3 will give his opinion about this name, he should know better.

I didn't have that headline someone changed it .. But I am trying to find the coat of arms for Gliwa and my father was looking as he wanted it

No Gliwa ever held membership of a szlachta (gentry) clan and therefore no coat of arms accompanies that surname. But Gliwa descendants -- Gliwicz and Gliwiński -- did eventually make it into the ranks of the well-born. Please PM me for details.
