Does anyone have any information relating to the owners / descendents of a glassworks in Borownicy and Jasienica Sufczynskiej please?
Coppieters de Tergonde ... Borownicy and Jasienica Sufczynskiej
Dobromil
8 Aug 2011 / #2
Well, I happen to be a descendant... My Grandmother's maiden name was Coppieters de Tergonde, she was one of the three daughters of Klemens Coppieters de Tergonde from Dobromil (now in Ukraine).
The Coppieters de Tergonde family was a part of a larger "klan" of Coppieterses from Flanders, Belgium -- there were several branches of them. The de Tergonde line is now extinct, the last two male members -- the two brothers of my Grandmother joined the Pilsudski's Legions, and were both killed on October 27 (or 28), 1914, in one of the very first Legions' actions.
I don't want to give my name here, but you may contact me by e-mail at: trurlzklapaucjuszem@gmail.

Hi - Thank you for your response on this site and I have sent two emails to you. I would be really happy to hear from you as I believe we are distantly related through Klemens.
