Are whole turkeys hard to find in Poland?

Whole turkeys seem to be hard to find in Warsaw, as mostly turkey parts (breats, thighs, drumsticks) are marketed. I wasn't looking for one but that's the impression of a fellow Pol-American who visited Poland over Thanksgiving.

Any reason for the lack of whole turkeys?

there are some. I usually buy mine in October or Nov and keep it in the fridge for xmas. They have them at Tesco, Alma and Piotr i Pawel. Thanksgiving is an American holiday- why would Poles celebrate it if they move back?

our thanksgiving is in october. we don't celebrate it while living in Poland.
