Is there anywhere to get organic produce besides the Organic Farma Zdrowia stores in the malls? Are there any vendors in the markets?

The thing is that the produce could very well be organic without it being explicitly labelled as such - but it's doubtful if the sellers in markets know or indeed care if it is or not. Remeber, farms here don't necessarily have the money to spend on expensive fertilisers.

There was an organic box scheme being run by Slow Food Warsaw a while ago but I don't know if it's still running. You could try getting in touch with them to see what they recommend.

Considering that farmers in Poland are more and more generous about using chemicals like Roundup, it's surprising the organic food movement in Poland hasn't gained a serious traction yet. It seems the legendary good Polish food quality from the socialism times has put Poles into a sleeping mode and they still believe that most Polish food products don't contain chemical poisons / GMO. Maybe it's time for Poland to re-think this strategy and start being more skeptical about the quality of foods produced in Poland.
