My grand parents and parents use to drink this Old Krupnik, My brother still does.
Reciently he purchased a bottle at a Spirit's Liquor store, across the highway from the Walmart in Toms River, N.J.
He opened the bottle for guests in his home. My wife was one who said she'd have some. She took a
sip and that was it. No more! My brother tasted his glass of Krupnik and said somethings wrong with this. He said
it tasted like gasoline with sugar in it. My wife had it before and liked it, but something was wrong with this
bottle of it. They both then drank something else. Oh, by the way, my brother is a bar tender and has been for
over 25 years.
He went back to The Spirits Liquor store he purchased it from and tried to tell them about his experience
with the bottle of Old Krupnik he bought there, how it tasted and that something was wrong. ( I have to add here
again that my brother bought Old Krupnik there many times before. Both he and my wife liked it previously to
this last bottle. ) The person at Sprits, ( You know the one's who come up to you and ask if they could help you. )
couldn't care less and gave him a look like he was nut's. Nice coustermer service.
My brother doesn't use a computer, so he asked me if I could find someplace to warn others about what happened.
He asked me about putting it on facebook or twitter but I don't do social networking sites.
I think it's amazing that for the most of the products we purchase, If something is not right we can return them for
our money back or at least credit to buy something else. Not in a liquor store? Why? When your in a resturant
and order a bottle of wine, a small amount is poured into your glass for your approval. You give it a nod or wave
it away. Not in a liquor store? Why? If it was a bad batch, don't you think the store would be concerned? Not
The Spirit's Liquor Store in Toms River, N.J. Don't you think they would want to notify the distributor, importer or
the company that makes it. Not the Spirit's Liquor Store in Toms River, N.J.
