New Polish Recipe Website - I Love Pierogi

Hello Everyone,

I'm new to the forum, but would like pass on the address of a new website that I'm currently working on about polish home cooking. The site is still in it's early stages so please be patient, eventually I am going to include a user recipe section where registered users can upload their own recipes to be tried and reviewed by other members. As of now, my site includes some basic polish recipes, and I'm adding more as fast as I can. I'm also preparing each recipe before I add it to the site to ensure its quality and authenticity.

I left Poland at a young age, and grew up eating Polish food at every social event I was dragged to by my parents, and of course our household meals were always Polish and prepared by my mother. Since then I myself have developed serious cooking hobby and am trying to document and pass on the Polish cooking tradition, I hope this website helps.

Smacznego!

hey, that's a pretty cool site. hope it grows as there aren't many sites in english that are exclusively polish cuisine.

(the only thing is that it seems to load slow for some reason)

Yes good website Michal. :)

I have a special reason to be cooking lots of Polish food in the near future so I'll bookmark your site and hope that you'll keep us informed when you add new recipes. :)

I have a Polish friend who'll be interested in this website too so I'll pass it on.

Actually Michal if you have an ILovePierogi Twitter page can you let me know? Thank you. :)

I will try to. Not sure it'll be in my own kitchen and there will be others there so it could be kind of busy so maybe the only pics will be of finished items. Recipes should be easier to post up though.

Remember this thread?: https://polishforums.com/food/pictures-27517/#msg524860 ;)

Just looked through it and now I'm hungry... :/

I was thinking about ILovePierogi.com, hopefully the user upload section could be added soon because there are many here on PF who could add their tasty dishes. :)

Smacznego!

OK you're getting me hungry now so I think I have to check this website out.

Also on the Martha Stewart TV Show, every so often Martha whips up some nice pierogis and goes into depth preparing them, showing different ways to bring the flavor out.

Martha Stewart talks about how pierogis were quite popular with her Polish family when growing up. It appears she has made pierogis more popular with Americans.

Thanks for everyones kind words about ilovepieorgi.com.
I would like to let everyone know that the site is currently down, and when I find time between my full-time job and and my web development project I will have the site back up with huge improvements. The site will allow registered users to submit their own recipes to the community and allow others to review on comment on them. I'm really excited about bringing the site back online, in the meantime stay tuned.
