I know I need to boil the cans of condensed milk for 3 hours...
2 hours should be enough:
Insert a can of milk to high pot and pour water;
Cook for approx. 2 hours (throughout the cooking time the can should be under water)
Prepare the mass - mix cooled milk with additional ingredients
Grease the wafers with the mass
Let stand for an hour (pressed with a heavy object on top)
Cut into any shapes.what else goes in the filling?
Couple of versions possible. It gepends what kind of waffle you want to make.
"petit beurre waffles" - can of sweetened condensed milk, petit beurre biscuits
"Caramel Apple waffles" - can of sweetened condensed milk, caramel, apples
"Coffee waffles" - espresso coffee (instant), dark chocolate
"Caramel-halvah wafers" - can of sweetened condensed milk, vanilla halvah, butter
"Pischinger" - can of sweetened condensed milk, butter, egg yolk, cocoa, powdered sugar, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, grated coconut, nuts (optional)
"Sesame-butterscotch waffles" - can of sweetened condensed milk, roasted sesame seeds
"Waffles with butterscotch mass and nuts" - can of sweetened condensed milk, nuts (cashews, walnuts or hazelnuts)
