Grilled Oszczypek/bacon/cranberry sauce - where to find in Krakow?

I came across a wonderful taste sensation this summer - grilled oszczypek cheese with bacon and cranberry sauce on top. I had a craving for it last week, so I returned to the restaurant where I get my fix - unfortunately, the restaurant was no longer there.

Does anyone have any ideas where I can find this in Krakow? Any decent restaurants offering it on their menus? I imagine there are plenty, but I don't know where to start looking - thanks!

It's oscypek btw :) Any highlanders' restaurant should have it. Is there a Gazdówka in Kraków?

Any shop, most Polish restaurants and even on the market square when they have the stalls up ;)

It seems both spellings are acceptable - I originally spelled it your way but changed it after a Google search.

Aha. It's a highlander's cheese so should be oscypek but some Poles might say oszczypek right enough, just like some eastern Poles say ladna and not ładna. I've just never seen it spelt your way. Anyway, hunt down a Gazdówka.

Try Aperitif on Maly Rynek or the Stary Kleparz market - ask to see the certificate as there are a lot of fakes around. But be quick, the oscypek production season ends at the end of October and they're only around for a month longer. Anything sold after that is made from cow's milk (not sheep or sheep + cow, as is required) and isn't oscypek.
