Availability of salceson (Polish-style brawn/headcheese)?

How widely available and consumed is salceson in your area? Is it generally liked or is 'yuck' the more typcial reaction. I personally esp. fancy salceson ozorowy (made with tongue).

I like salceson quite a lot. In my native Flanders head meat is popular as well. But fact is there is a big difference in quality and taste. Here in Warsaw about every meat shop has its version.

I love all types! Here in Central Jersey we have many Polish butcher shops from which one can sample and purchase this delicious provision.

Needs a new name. I would never eat anything that sounds like a urological complaint.

I think 'yuck' is a perfect description. I will check out the Polish deli next time, to see if they sell the mouth-watering stuff.
