At the moment one can opt out of seeing discussions from the Off-Topic forum. I'd like to suggest that that is reversed so that people need to opt in in order to see those threads. What do other people think about that suggestion
I assume from the way that only registered users have posted in threads in the Off-Topic forum that guest users cannot post in the Off-Topic threads. But if they post in open forum their post can be binned, which is why posts from guest accounts are in the bin. However, when I log out, I can still read the contents of the Off-Topic forum. I'd suggest that access to the Off-Topic forum is limited to registered users only. Any thoughts from anybody?
Registered users can see what is available; if they don't like the Off-Topic they can choose not to see them. That's how it logically should work.
