Do you know New Jersey well? We live in Fort Lee, my wife and family, not as many Poles as where we used to live (nearby Greenpoint), but nevertheless quieter and cleaner than Queens!
Bydgoszcz is a city with which I'm familiar somewhat, although Szczecin's the only Polish city I ever visited up until now.
English is a tricky language, so don't despair and bądź mi pilna!

Just because I know Polish needn't necessarily mean that I'm Polish! Back to you. Your English will probably be more acceptable to Aussies than to Brits, as those from "Down Under" are much laxer about their usage than the English. Australians whom I've encountered are quite like Americans, so I don't think you'll have any problems whatsoever.LOL

LOVED Poland though, by the way:-) Wish I could've stayed in Sczcecin even longer than just 24 hours, but my friend had to return to Berlin (plus she didn't speak Polish)!

At the beginning I can work in a shop. With the passing of time I find something better, I hope :-) about visa I know. But what about accommodation? Can I find something before I leave Poland? What about the price?
aussies were running some point base immigration system..f you are young ,educated in the fields they need ,you have good chance to get green card.
dont go abroad with tourist visa,hoping to get job nd life. unless if you have some money to spend on solcitors, you can go with tourist visa and then apply for business visa once in Australia.try this point immigration choice first
dont know much about visa system in Australia,but in western countries,the easiest way to get legal employment use to be getting self employment status and then business visa. and after 4 years,apply for permanent stay.
i did that in the UK back in 2000.it was easy to get,tho cost me around 1k

What you need is the "462 Work and Holiday" visa. It's valid for one year and you don't need a sponsor, if I understand correctly.
"The Work and Holiday (Temporary) visa (subclass 462) is for young people who want to holiday and work in Australia for up to a year. It is a temporary visa that encourages cultural exchange and closer ties between Australia and eligible partner countries. If you have completed specified subclass 462 work in northern Australia in tourism and hospitality or agriculture, forestry and fishing you can apply for a second Work and Holiday visa."
You fly to Australia and find an employer yourself. Once you're hired you are allowed to work until the visa expires. If you found a job in the above fields, you are eligible to apply for a second time, which would give you another year to work in Australia.
Brexit isn't that scary ;) Visit the UK first at least to find out what your language skills are. Writing in English or speaking isn't that difficult. The real chalenge is to understand native speaker in a noisy place via telephone. When they say town or street names is a complete disaster. Australia is a distant country. You will need a sack of money for a start.

You should hate to say it son. The Aussies were America's #1 allie in the Vietnam war as I remember by sending over 50,000 troops. They held their own which I couldn't say for any other allies there. So don't be talking smack about things you are clueless about. Back on topic however.........my best friends daughter is in Australia right now working and said there are an abundance of jobs in hospitality. She has moved up and down the coast working at several different places bartending making very good money. She said that people are most friendly and helpful. The draw backs are high rent and a very hot climate. It would be a tremendous opportunity for a couple of twenty something Polish girls. Go for it as life gets shorter every day. Don't be on your death bed in old age and say, "I wish I would have."

Depends where and when you go. Sydney is really expensive, weather in winter is often crappy and cold. The far north is tropic, but it's very humid and hot at times. Rents are a lot lower up there; especially north of the Whitsundays.
@TheOther Yes I did. I chose the country and others options and was: there's no visa for you... hm :/ Is it certain that the year will extend my visa? how can I be sure? I do not want a situation that will fly for only one year and I have to go back.... what is with accommodation? How to find before I come to Australia? And where to serach? The flat I would like to have before I come... what city do you recommend?
